Chapter 12: Untitled

I saw the doc and he stitched me back up. "Now be careful. Else you will have to stay here until the stitches dissolve." "Yes Doc. Ow." "Hey next time watch your back and you won't get hurt you idiot." "Yeah, I know. I'll just rest here a bit." "Ok I'll go let your future wife know." "Thanks man. Argh." Then I saw him leave and went to sleep.

I didn't realize how long I was asleep and when I woke up it was brighter than it was when I was last awake. I wonder how long I was asleep. Then I heard someone knocking. "Come in." I said in a hoarse voice. ( by the way I was in an empty room beside mine and Talia's room.)Then the person came in. It was Ash and my brother Arson. "Hey guys. How long have I been asleep?" "Two days." Said Arson. "Yeah, welcome back sleeping beauty. Once your stitches dissolve you can leave confinement. He said they should dissolve in another 2 days. How are the babies?" "They are fine don't worry." "Good. That's good." Do you want me to get the babies so you can see them?" said Arson. "Uh yeah that would be great thanks. I may not be able to hold them but I can at least see them. Can Talia walk yet?" "No, but I can bring her in a wheelchair and bring her over with the babies." Said Ash. "Yeah, do that. Thanks." Then they did just that.

They came back with Arson pushing the wheelchair. "Hello Daddy." Said Talia. "Hey Talia and boys. How are you all doing?" "They are doing great Narvi. How are you doing?" "Uh I will be good in another 2 days. Then they have to check me out make sure I healed ok then I can get out of confinement. "You know I can't leave you here to do stupid stuff to pull stitches out." "Haha yeah I guess you're right. " They are staying in the rooms that family stay in here." "That's good."

Two days later I was fine and can finally leave confinement. Some family came over and helped us with the babies for at least a few months until my wife was healed.

"How are you feeling now?" said the doc. Ash was still with me. "I'm fine. Just a slight pain I can deal. Can I get out of here now?" "Yes, as long as you both take it easy. You got some good friends here who can help you out." "Yes, I do." I said looking at Ash. "OK Ash lets go." I winced a little and Ash helped me up. "Take it easy there kid." "Hey I'm not a kid anymore. I'm a Dad now." "Ha-ha well you'll always be a kid to me. Just like my son your half-brother." "Yeah, I know." We went back over to where Talia and my kids were. There were others who showed up. I told her the news and she was relieved.

We got the babies situated in their beds. I took some medicine for my pain and it made me sleepy. I felt Talia brush my hair back so I looked at her. I smiled then closed my eyes. I felt her kiss my forehead before I went into a deep sleep.

The next morning, I was feeling loads better. I was feeling a little tender but was well enough to do my daily activities. Although I couldn't train yet until the tenderness went away. It sucked a lot. I guess the only thing to do left is mingling. We decided to wait until the kids were about 1 or 2 before we got married. I really wanted to go back to the fountain. So, I told Ash and the others what I was going to do and they nodded. I excused myself and left. We had some friends taking care of the kids right now. I was alone and going to the fountain and Talia was out with her girlfriends.

I saw the protector of the fountain there again. "Hello again Narvian." "Its Narvi and Hello. Can I see what my future holds now?" "Everyone is welcome here if they mean no harm. Even if they did, they could still see their future and I wouldn't have high hopes for them. So, which are you? Good intentions or ill?" "I'm hoping good. I guess the fountain would tell us, right?" "Go ahead Narvi." I nodded then looked directly into the water of the fountain. What I saw shocked me.

I saw another set of twins but they were girls and ours. We had already gotten married. The boys looked about 4 or 5 years old and the twin girls looked about 2 or 3. Talia was there with them. It was all happy until I saw a shadow. I saw a shadow take my girls. Then when he showed himself, I backed away. "Remember it's not written in stone what will happen. Even if it does there is still hope. Now that you know what will happen, go to your future wife and tell her what is going to happen. Then be prepared." "Thank you, sir." I nodded then ran off to find Talia.

I found her right away. "Excuse me. Can I borrow my future wife for a moment?" "Yes sure. Bye see you later Talia." Said her friend. She waved and I took her to the bedroom.

"What is it, Narvi? You look so worried." I took a couple of deep breaths and I finally spoke. "I just got back from the fountain. In the future we will have two little girls. But when the two little girls are about 2 or 3 a shadow will take them. Just before I backed away, I saw the face of the shadow." "Who was it, Narvi?" I didn't say anything for a while and Talia said again. "Narvi? Who was it? Who took our baby girls?" Then I snapped out of it. "You won't believe me if I told you." "Tell me. The fountain hasn't been wrong yet." "Ok I will tell you. Just stay calm, ok?" "I'll do my best." "It was my uncle who we knew so well and thought had died. He must have faked his death. Uncle Damian." "No! Are you serious? No. it can't be." "What? Did you know him before I told you." "Yes, I didn't know he was your uncle. He was like a friend of my family. Are you sure?" "Yes, I'm positive. Why don't you go see what you can in the fountain yourself. I will go get our boys." She nodded. Then she left and I went to go get my boys.

Once I got my boys, I was headed back to my room a bit to let the babies get some rest and me too. I needed it. Then just as I got there, I saw Talia. "Oh, hey Talia what did you see in the fountain?" "It's him. It's really him Narvi. He took our babies. Why did he take our babies?" "I don't know honey. But I promise we will get them back, ok? I don't care how long it takes." I hugged her and she hugged me back. The boys were sleeping.

It was about 2 years later. We had already gotten married when the kids were 1 year old. So, it's almost our anniversary. My wife just found out she was pregnant with the girls. So, it looks like they were 5 years old and the girls were close to 3 years old when they were taken if not 3 yet. We were getting ready to go to the castle to visit my brother. I don't care about the half crap he is always been my brother and friend. "Ok did we pack what we needed?" "Yes we did can we go now?" I said annoyed. "Ok where are the boys?" "Ash has them. He said he has some business over there anyway." "Ok good. Let's go." "Finally!" "Hey Narvi. Don't be in such a rush. It's only been 2 years since you have seen him in person. "Well at least I wrote letters to him. He knows I still exist and he will meet our boys only to find out you are pregnant with twins again." "Ha-ha yeah that's true." I was flying on my wife hanging on to the kids. Ace was having fun. "Hey there Aiden and Ace are you having fun flying on mommy?" "Wee I Fly!" said Ace. Aiden was the more serious one. He got closer to me. "It's ok little guy. We will be there soon." He looked more annoyed at his little brother. Ace was the younger twin and Aiden was the older.

We finally got to the castle. We saw my brother waiting at the gate. I had Aiden since he was a daddy's boy. Talia had Ace mommy's boy. Aiden was surprisingly happy and ran over to uncle Arson. "Oh, hello there. Aiden, right?" He looked at me and I nodded. "Hey there Aiden. I thought you were the more serious one huh?" He looked confused not knowing what he was talking about. "Ok well how about you Ace? Are you going to come over to uncle Arson?" He ran over to my brother's wife. "Auntie!" "Oh well that works too, I guess. Ha-ha." "Wow ok. A boy that only likes girls and a boy who is my man." I jokingly pouted my lip and Aiden came over to his dad. "I'm ok kiddo. I'm just playing. Daddy is fine. Go play with uncle Arson." He ran back over. "So, Arson. How are mom and dad doing?" "Mom is doing quite good and so is dad. They should be home sometime tomorrow." "Oh, is that so? Out for business?" "Yeah, something like that." "Ok cool. Uh We took a week off so we will be staying here for that. Oh, and my wife is pregnant again. With twins." "Oh, congrats man. I just meet my nephews and find out I'm going to be an uncle again. Awesome. Next time don't wait forever, ok?" "Yeah sorry. Any news from you two?" "Well, there was a reason Ace ran to her. Yes, she is pregnant." "Oh, congrats man." "Thanks Narvi." "Our kids can hang out when we are here then." "Yeah, good idea."

A day later the grandparents came. "Oh, hello Narvi." "Hey mom and dad." "So, these must be the kids?" said dad. "Hello Talia good to see you as well." Said mom. "Yeah, Kids say hi to grandma and grandpa." "Hi papa." Said Ace. Then Aiden started being his serious self. "Oh, now you're going to act like your serious self. Come on. Say hi to grandma and grandpa Aiden." I said. So, I saw him take his sweet time going over to them. Mom grabbed him and picked him up. She hugged him tight. "Hello Aiden. Nice to meet you. I'm grandma." Then I saw him hug her. "Aww so cute." I joked. "Yeah, it is." Said Talia. "You know I thought Ace would be the most serious since he looks like you Narvi." Said Talia. "I know I thought so too. It would be cool if Ace was the Jay and Aiden, was the demon."

"I know right?" Then we told them we were here for 6 more days. They had the boys share a room since the beds were usually big but they put special beds in there for the kids in case they were to visit.

Once Me and my parents and brother were alone the girls played with the kids, I told them about what I saw in the fountain. What the fountain was. It can give you possibilities of what can happen. It's not written in stone. A small change can change the future. "I see so she is having girls?" "We don't know for sure. It's still too early but they weren't much older than the boys but like the old man said the future can change. She can still have boys again. I have a feeling it is girls though. After that we said we are done. 4 is enough." "Ha-ha" Dad and mom started laughing. "What's so funny?" "Uh well when your mother and I had you we actually wanted another one. But she said the same thing enough so we just had you. She already had a son before you. We send him and someone else to find you and keep an eye and you and he did." "Yeah, He did alright. He might not have talked but we had our own way of communicating. It was hard at first to find out what he was trying to tell me then I figured it out. So since then, it was easy. Now that he can talk it is way more helpful. Oh, I had a question. I've been meaning to ask you both. What made you name me Narvian in the first place?" "Well, I heard that name in a book actually. I told your father the name." "Yeah, I liked it too. The name Narvi for short sounded good to me. So, we named you that." "Ok well what about Arson's name?" "Oh, Uh well when Ash and I were together, he always said he liked the name Arson if he ever had a son. When I got pregnant, he didn't know. We ended our relationship before I could tell him. I had already had Arson when I met your dad. I was still living in my castle since Ash and I split up. I never saw him till recently. He never knew he had a son. Now he does." "So, does that mean you were a princess from the start? Is Ash royalty?" "Uh well." I saw mom look at dad. "Why would you look at dad?" "Well, your dad was an old friend of Ash's. His family was royalty at one time. He was related to the Goldhart's." Said mom. "You said Goldhart?" "Yeah, why? Have you heard that name before?" "I think I have. Let me think. Ah yeah that's right! They were talking about years ago when they kept trying to capture the prince. They called him by his last name Goldhart. Or I assumed it was his last name." "Yes, the people who took you I'm sure have. Sigh. Well, we are both glad you and Arson turned out ok." "Thanks dad. Um if you don't mind me asking, what happened to the Goldhart's?" "Ha. Well, I don't know much about them but Ash might if you ask him." "Yeah, I will."

Then I left the office and we ran into Ash. "Excuse me mom and dad." They nodded and I ran up to him. "Hey Ash! Are you busy right now?" "Uh I've got a little bit of a break. Why what's up kid? You, ok?" "Well sort of. I need to ask you a personal question. Follow me. I know where to go." "Ok kid." SO, he followed me into the forest where I knew no one was to listen. "Ok here is good." "Kid? Why do you look so strange. Are you really Narvi?" "Huh? Oh, sorry what did you say?" "Kid are you ok? Your eyes just turned green." "Oh yeah sorry. They do that sometimes. Anyway, I came to ask you about your family the Goldharts. Mom told me. They don't know much about them so they wanted me to ask you." "Sigh. I see. They wouldn't know much. How old do I look to you kid?" "Hmm well not much older than dad why?" "Is that so. Well actually I am 500 years old kid. Obviously, humans can't live that long so I'm not human. The Goldharts weren't either. Once your mother split up with me, I found out I was related to the Goldharts. I must have had lost my memories back then since I didn't remember. The only thing I remembered was my name and how old I was back then. I was young. I actually looked 20 back then but I was actually 480. Anyway a few years after that I walked away from the village. Not long after I left, I found out what I was. Since we are in the forest it's the best place to show you." I backed away to give him some room. "Oh, don't worry I'm not that big." Then I saw him sprouting 4 tails. Then ears. "Ok done. This is what I look like." "Are you a…. Are you a fox?" I said while trying not to chuckle when I talked. "Yeah, its ok. Go ahead and laugh. I laughed the first time I found out as well. But I'm not only a fox. I am also a Falcon. You weren't awake. You were dying and Talia held you so you wouldn't fall." I couldn't hold it in. So, I laughed at the fox part for a bit.

After I calmed down, I wiped my tears. "Ok so what happened to the Goldhart's? Did you get your memory back?" "Um partially yeah. It's a pain from the headache but I manage. Uh I remember people yelling at me telling me it's my fault that the family is ruined. I just don't remember what I did to ruin the family. Then your father's family took over. I wish I knew what happened. There a very few Goldhart's left. That is sort of what my business here was. It was to find out more about what happened. I never told anyone I was related to them." "Uh there is something I do need to know though. The prince. One of the men that captured me kept saying something about Goldhart and the prince. It was years ago." "Ah yes. That. Why do you need to know who the prince was? Do you have some sort of connection with him or something?" "I don't know but, every time I hear the name Goldhart and prince my eyes and a strange feeling builds up like I need to know something. Do you know anything about the prince or who can help me find out?" "Uh what did your mother say about me and the Goldhart's?" "Uh all they said is that you were related by blood why? Is that a problem?" "No that's good. When I found out, I went to meet your mother. Arson must have been with some neighborhood kid or something cause he wasn't there when I was. That's how she knew I was related to them." "Ok so who is this prince? Can someone help?" "Well, there are some who might be able to. They too are Goldhart family. Don't be shocked on what I tell you OK kid?" "Would you stop calling me kid? Jeeze. Ok who is it?" "The prince is…."
