That Shocking Truth

The killer quickly tried to fly away but lurched and fell along with a loud bang. As he fell, more than five weapons he had hidden in his clothes were thrown to the ground and clanged.

"Catch him!"

The duke ordered his guards to catch him. Without much effort, they caught him easily.

'Is it that easy?'

Henry looked at the killer struggling while looking at him. He looked away and saw Ricarda a little terrified. She must have gotten scared to see him having so many weapons.

"How dare you try to harm our people in our own mansion? Send him to the prison and inquire who sent him."

The duke again turned to pale-looked Henry who was holding his chest.

"Are you okay? Nothing happened, right? If you saw him following you, then why didn't you ask someone for help?"

'Now you are blaming me for that too? It's because you can't be trusted!'

As he blamed the duke in his heart, he made an answer.

"I was going to. But I fell and that's when I finally screamed."

He answered him with a sad look.

"Then why are you holding your chest? Does your heart hurt?"

The duke asked, seeing him pitiful.

"Ah! Maybe it was because I was scared my heart beat so fast. That's why..."

'I thought I was doing good. Why did I tell him I fell, while I was holding my chest? I am a fool! In the hurry, I was actually careless!'

"Then go back to your room. If something is wrong, call Arthur. He would come and treat you."

When he heard Arthur's name, his eyes ran to the tan-skinned man next to the duke. He was Arthur's lover. But the guy remained expressionless.

'Could it be that they still haven't got together? Whatever! It doesn't concern me.'

He saw the duke turning around and walking back. Killian also turned around to follow him. But Henry was quick. He grabbed his hand and pulledd him down toward him. Henry was not even tall enough to his waist. So it was really hard to communicate like that.

"I know your little kitty hates rats. You once told me. Can you please help me?"

Killian looked at the little kid who pushed him and whispered in his ear.

"Okay, I will visit you in the evening."

He grinned, said and left with the duke. Henry really was able to do it without letting the duke notice it. He felt very proud.

He smiled happily and turned to leave. But noticed Ricarda who had already seen everything.

'Fuck! I forgot her.'

He walked to her with the smile still on.

"Thank you for coming to check on me. You can go back. Let's have tea time later."

Ricarda didn't ask anything and nodded with her gentle smile on. Henry sighed watching her leaving silently.

'I need to rest.'

He walked to his bed like a lifeless person. He threw himself on that fluffy bed feeling relaxed.

He closed his eyes and fell asleep very peacefully. It may be because he succeeded in everything he planned. He was happy.

"Young master, you have a guest."

Henry woke up to his maid's calling. He lazily wiped his eyes and looked at her in a daze.

"A guest?...Ah...Ask him to come in."

Henry quickly got off the bed and ran to welcome him.

Killian was waiting at his door impatiently with his little kitty resting on his shoulder.

"I am sorry for letting you wait. I fell asleep."

As Henry apologised, he asked Killian to sit and feel free to talk with him.

The maid looked at Killian with fear and hesitated to leave there thinking if it was okay to leave her young master alone with him. However, seeing her gaze, Henry comforted her and sent her away.

"I don't know you, do I?"

Killian asked as he examined the child in front of him.

"That-...I-"

"You don't have to tell me. I will find out."

The snake stopped in front of his eyes and stared into his eyes.

"Look at me...My good child..."

It was the same as that time when this snake stared into his eyes. It was how Killian looked for him in Henry's memories. His kitty had such an ability.

The snake searched all of Henry's memories and gathered all the scenes that included them. Then Killian also watched what happened and finally talked, realising what he found out before Henry died.

"So you have been dying and borning again and again?"

When Killian asked Henry nodded.

"It's my first time hearing and seeing such a person with my eyes. But I still trust this because all of my guesses fit every scene that happened to you."

Henry listened to him talking very seriously

"All of these things connect to your sister. Did you ever feel that?"

Henry shook his head. Because he never thought Ricarda would be involved in this matter. And how was she connected to his things?

"In what way? Even though she was with me whenever I died, I don't think it was her that made me die."

Killian crossed his legs and leaned on the chair.

"Well, she would have not wanted to kill you or to see you die. But in all the way, she still has something to do with your death. Do you know why?"

Killian looked very excited. He seemed to know everything.  His eyes shined with excitement as he looked at Henry's confused look.

Killian leaned forward and glanced at Henry, parted his lips again.

"Because she is not human!"
