Letter/Noah System Broken?

Noah's Pov:

Strange, why did Susan behave like that. While wondering he quickly read over the official Hogwarts invitation letter.

Dear Mr Bones,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

Amelia glanced at the letter with a look of nostalgia."It seems like yesterday when I recieved the letter. Hogwarts really is a magical place Noah. Here , you can make friends and perhaps your lifelong partner," she said with a teasing glance at the end. Despite her attempts she did not get any reaction from Noah.

She sighed and said," Noah, I know you have a deep hatred for the pureblood families, but you shouldn't treat everyone like that. Who knows, you might even make new friends."

Hearing this Noah slowly began to think. Not all pure-blood families were noble pricks. Their children had no hatred against him. All of this was a result of bad parenting.

Seeing that her words had a positive effect she continues," Today we will go meet the Greengrass family. They are a relatively neutral family and actually support you." Nodding, Noah began to ponder about his future plans.

"Ding, you have received a reward. The host has gained +1 magic power +1 magic control and 1 magic wand shape customization."

Startled, Noah began to feel elated as his magical power soared. "Fuck, system you are back. Finally my goldfinger is back online. Tell me system, where is my gift pack."

"..."

"System?"

"..."

"You stupid system!!! You are finally back online at least say something."

Despite Noah's best efforts he could not manage to communicate with the system. He felt like this system was a pitfall. What kind of system abandons the host? Why did he even gain the +1 Magic power and the wand customization?

Help? What should I do if my system is broken? Waiting online, very anxious!!!

Making his way to Susan's room he politely knocked on the door. When he saw Susan's appearance, he was startled. She looked like she just had a sugar rush and woke up from a massive hangover.

"Susan, I know you are excited by why are you so tired. You really are excited aren't you"

"Don't worry big brother, I was just really excited."

"All right, get ready, we will go to the Greengrass manor together."

"Okay"

Making his way to his own room, Noah recollected the information he knew about the Greengrass family. From what he learnt, their matriarch had passed away due to the maledictus blood infection. They had 2 daughters named Daphne and Astoria. Unfortunately, they grew up in a very strict environment. To make matters worse, the younger daughter Astoria inherited the Maledictus infection from her mother. This meeting was definitely bound to be interesting. Perhaps he could solve this virus in the future.
