CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE
Thea's POV
Lev's eyes was focused on me. "Oh Really? Wow, I didn't expect that to come this soon. That's great, I'm all ears, Thea. Anything you need to get off your chest, spill it. I promise, my goofy charm will make it all seem less daunting and your secrets are safe with me." He winked. Lev hardly keeps a serious expression for more than few seconds.
I laughed but hesitated, wonderIng if I could open up to Lev about the drama in my life and the darkness in my heart. My situation was quite complicated to let a stranger in on. But his friendly look was inviting.
"Alright, let's talk," I said, deciding to take the chance. Lev gestured to the chair opposite him and I grabbed the chair. It was next to the study table, not so far away from the exit door, and sat.
"Go ahead, Thea. I'm ready and willing to hear you out." He said.
Lev looked genuinely interested and he wore a serious face this time.
