The an hours ride was silent as the car drove smoothly down the road taking a few turns to the left .

" What's the problem ? you just too quiet for my liking after leaving the morgue, you thinking something ? "

Jack asked a bit concerned for his friend and co worker who sigh confusedly;

" Don't know just thinking "

He replied causally taking two shaking breaths

" Where you scared of the corpse ? I won't lie I was also scared just the face was too horrible for me to stare "

Jack complain loudly wanting to throw up just thinking about it yet again.

" Your wife is truely good at her job "

He wanted to say something else but the opposite just split out

" Of course she is, that's why I married her in the first place "

He hummed softly with a sincere smile

" She must knowledgeable about a lot of things "

He causally stated which made jack chuckle softly

" of course She's good with everything except for socializing that's why she has no friends "

He sighed in pity before facing Paul who seemed dazed lost in thought for mere seconds before glancing back on the road ahead .

" Speaking about socializing I do know some girls who are interested in you "

Paul was quick to refuse only for jack to frown in disappointment

" I know you find your job to be your everyday life however a job is a job not your personal life "

Jack advice sarcastically wanting to say more but was cut off from the ringing of Paul phone who sighed in relief

He answered without delay only to be hanged at

Jack advice Paul who did what was asked of him to discover the number was gone

He whispered softly to himself before sighing ignoring the side stare from jack

The loud hurry footsteps of nurses and doctors also sounds of patient was loud enough for all to hear .

But was ignored by Moses who just glance at the door with a different expression than back at his wife .

Moses couldn't help but sigh softly holding his wife arm and feeling the warmth from it .

" Why didn't you tell me ? "

He whispered placing his right hand on her stomach wanting to feel the heartbeat of the unborn child .

But could only feel nothing but warmth which made his eyes soften a bit , he could only held her hands yet again worried for both mother and child .

" Husband ! "

The hoarse but yet tired voice soon caught her attention .

facing his wife confused stare he quickly pressed the emergency button below the bed before facing his wife with a relief smile

" Where am I ? "

She asked weakly glancing round before staring at the drip which somehow answer her questions

" And Barnabas ? "

She quickly asked genuinely worried

" Don't worry I sent him back with Dad "

He answered helping her arrange some strings off her face his eyes moist but still his smile soft .

" And my ? "

She whispered her eyes widened in realization placing her free arm which was connecting to the drip on her stomach ignoring the pain

" Both you and the baby are fine "

Moses answered simply a bit sad noticing her relief smile

" Why didn't you tell me ? "

He asked which caught Anita off guard her eyes soon fall on both their hands feeling the sense of comfort and warmth something she had missed .

" I didn't want to give you worrys you were busy as it is "

She replied truthfully before staring at the cast on her husband arm which made her panic a little

" are you hurt ? "

She asked her eyes on the cast which made Moses chuckle placing a kiss on her forehead which somehow caught her attention

" Fall and got hurt nothing to worry about "

He replied simply sitting on the edge of the bed only for his smile to deepen the more

" You with child so don't act careless next time, if you need help just call me okay "

He advised his wife whom frown

" Am not that busy "

He assure her who wanted to say more but at that moment the sounds of the door was heard which caught Moses attention

" Doctor ! "

Moses said adjusting his stands as he glare at both doctor and the assistance nurse by her side .

" Doctor pls check "

Moses was the first to broke the silence stepping aside for both to check on Anita who nervously squeeze the hand of Moses

" How are you feeling ? "

The doctor asked adjusting her glasses as she monitor the beeping line's of the machine

" Tired but good "

She replied truthfully with a small smile watching the doctor walk closer to her checking on her heartbeat and any other areas

" Any pains or discomfort ? "

She further asked only for Anita to shook her head still staring at the doctor who check on the drip then her pulse

" Am feeling much better now I think It's alright for me to get discharge "

Anita assured the doctor who simply shook her head in a serious manner

" Even though you are out of danger it is still important for you to stay here and been observed "

She replied simply writing something's down into a note before passing it unto the nurse who simply steps out the room

" But I don't need observation am good and healthy "

Anita agrue only to be ignore

" Your wife condition is not fully stable due to the excess amount of blood flow she had lost during the surgery ,

We have still discover her PB is a bit high from average which might be dangerous for both mother and child that's why it's very important for her to have a lot of rest "

She informed Moses who nodded seriously

" her pregnancy is a bit fragile and it's really important that she isn't stress out it can also be harmful to the baby "

With that she simply walk out not intending to say more

" Moses I can't stay here like this "

She complained exhausted by the mere words letting go of her husband hand from annyoance

" You heard the doctor yourself it's important you have rest that way both you and the baby can be healthy "

Moses try to coax his wife who could only sigh in frustration

" Fine I will call juilet to come over then we can discuss "

She murmured heavily now realizing that her phone wasn't with her

" Where's my phone ? "

She asked out loud wanting to check for it was quick to stop by Moses who could only worry for his wife carelessness

" No need to worry for such things am quite sure it must be with Barnabas ,. I will make sure to call and inform the school head about your situation tomorrow itself "

He voice out adjusting the blanket on her body before holding her hand once again

" You know the director ? "

Anita asked a bit surprised herself only to receive a nod

" He was one of my clients two years back and an quite sure he won't mind if you leave work for a while "

He assured his wife vwho wanted to say more but held herself

" You should remember that you aren't alone now there's a little life growing inside of you , so you shouldn't be careless " .

Moses force a small smile reminding Anita who subconsciously place her free hand on her tummy before nodding
