Zen was just about to leave the table when her mother stopped her.
"Zen, you are ready for the trip to country X , the next week right all of us have to go you know that your father have specifically asked you to take a leave of absence from your college right ."
"yes, mom I know that I have already got the approved letter to you why don't you believe me."
"That is because I know you too well, you always cancel the plan on the last moment and we can't do anything about it, so this time around you are not gonna do such thing".
Zen gave a large smile to her father who was staring at her, and asked" by the way dad, what are you planning, you don't simply ask all of us to join you on a trip or compel everyone to visit your friends place from what I remember we have visit uncle John's place when I was very young quiet a few times but you suddenly stopped going there for a long time, I don't even remember their place."
"That is because all of us have gone there more than couple of times but you always had some new trick up your sleeves and cancelled your trip and made us leave you behind in your hostel." madam Xing said this pulling Zen's ear.
Zen left out a loud cry " Mom, it hurts".
"yes, you should know that it hurts so that you don't do that again".
"Mom, I won't do that this time for sure."
"But dad what are you planning to do any gossip?" she asked smilling ear to ear.
"There is no such gossip , but yes a good news for sure". elder Xing said with a smile on his face.
"Really! Dad can't your one and only daughter know what that is ....?". she said with a puppy face.
"you always do this but not this time ".
"Dad..., my world most handsome dad, the world best dad...".
"Ok stop! now I know I can't win against you, here is the thing my friend your uncle John is not satisfied with just being my friend and wants to marry his grandson to my grand daughter ".
"What! really, then who is it that is getting married is it 'Rui' or 'Hua'.
"That I am not sure of he just asked us to go over to his place for a trip and by the end the week he will tell me who he choose as his grand daughter in law."
"That means we all are going over there just to be matchmakers for them." Zen said with a smile that only she and the two people sitting infront of her knew.
"Zen don't even think about it you are not allowed to sit this out cause you are gonna join me this time around". said madam Xing seeing her smile.
