I Will be the One to Kill You

The dawn has just arrived as the day light has just come to an end. The sunset was now starting to disappear, but there are already visible stars shining brightly from above. The moonlight is now starting to show up as the darkness begun to envelop the surrounding.

A figure of a little girl, sitting at the edge of a cliff with her big cerulean colered eyes fixated on the wonderful view of vanishing sun, would be seen from afar. The girl has a big cat-like ears, a short pink hair, wearing a pink cute dress and a violet garment below her, paired with her brown little boots. She also has this shaggy brown and white tail. Her name is Nana, the feline wizard. Beneath her was a small valley that was located at the crater of the Enchanted forest, consisting her clan living there for ages.

Nana then diverted her gaze to the side. Under the old narra tree, she stared at the woman who is still unconscious from yesterday afternoon until now. The woman is wearing a crystalline well-woven fabric wrapped around her body, and behind her was a strikingly beautiful type of bow and arrow. Getting up, she heaved a heavy sigh before making her way towards the woman.

"Just where exactly are you from?" Nana asked uttering, even if the latter cannot hear her.

Small cuts can be seen at some part of the woman's visible skins, and there's a wound on her forehead which Nana already treated the other night. She also have two deep wounds on her stomach, that was probably hitted by a sharp dagger. The woman has an ear that's comparable to an elf's, and has a gentle and exquisite small face.

The woman suddenly moved and screamed when she woke up, which totally frightened Nana. She ran away at a fast speed and hid herself behind the tree in the distance.

"Alucard? Alucard?" the woman cried, her voice very weak and soft.

Nana shivered hastily, not able to come near her. She doesn't even know a bit of the woman's existence. It was yesterday noon and she was just passing by the spring at the south when she found this woman lying near the river valley. She hesitated to draw nearer the body, mostly because she thought that the woman was already dead, unmoving and just barely breathing.

"Aah, w-where am I?" The woman asked, but no one dared to answer. Without getting any respond she tried yelling, "Is anybody here? Please help me I am no bad." She pleaded.

She adjusted her vision and toured her eyes around, surrounded only by the tall leafy trees. Her eyes landed at the distance, discovering a small shadowy figure barely moving behind the mango tree. The figure tucked its head out, causing them to have an eye contact.

"Hey, My name is Miya. Don't be afraid I won't bite." Miya introduced herself smiling at the little kid.

--

"I've been sleeping overnight? Oh, I was mumbling nonstop? And I almost...died?" Miya asked, and Nana just nodded her head in response.

They both wander their eyes at the valley below. Until this moment, what happened earlier at the river valley wasn't still totally sinking in Miya's head. The Hordes, and the monsters. They shouldn't be roaming around freely like that. They are dangerous, and they may start riot to the entire land.

"Your boyfriend was kidnapped by the Hordes? And the...monsters?" She was then brought back to the present when Nana asked. Miya silently nodded, unable to digest the fact.

The night seems so different that time. The wind was dangerously wagging around, seemingly bearing a storm of harm. They both quivered by the chilling air, breathing hard.

"A-are you planning to travel alone?" A moment of silence has broken by the sudden question.

"Uh, how about you? Are you living alone here?" Miya just returned the question.

"Oh! No no. I have my friend with me and she was the cutest pet in the world! Don't worry, Molina will be up here soon." Nana said smiling. She then pointed at the Leonin Valley. "I am living in that valley down there, but yesterday morning when I woke up, I've heard a very scary rumor. Did you know? They said that the head demon have fully resurrected! No way! I thought it was just a fictitious story, but I got curious that's why I have decided to find the truth."

Miya was really so attentive in every word that Nana is saying. She suddenly felt nervous, her fists hardened and her nails digged in her own flesh. What head demon? Is that the merciless demon that her guardian was storytelling her before? But he said that she doesn't havr to be afraid because it wasn't real...

"And what's more is, I want to live a new life outside my hometown. I really wanted to try something new Miya, those things I didn't experience before. But then my plan was delayed..." She's not able to continue, so Miya was the one who did it.

"Yeah...interrupted by me right? I was really very thankful of that Nana. You know, if you just want, you can go with me on my journey..." Hearing that, Nana's big ears wagged repeatedly, an indication of overflowing excitement she's feeling. Her cheecks even got rosier than before.

That was when Molina joined the show. It was a strange creature, a mixture of a cat and rabbit. Its color was a combination of gray and pink, and has a cotton like bristles.

"You're finally awake" A very thin voice left from her small mouth, which really took Miya in astonishment.

"What the efenef! S-she's speaking! I heard her speaking Nana!" She exclaimed, pointing at Molina in horror.

"Ssshh!" Nana and Molina both produced a cute little laughs. "I've brought something for you. Go on, eat now so you can rest early."

They shared a basket of different fruits, filling enough their empty stomachs.

Far enough from them, under the bright full moon, there were two shadows hiding underneath the huge bunch of trees. One shadow was a tall figure, wearing a dark brown and red cloak (same as a knight's costume), who's gotten a pair of blazing eyes. The other shadow was small, a little bit taller than the feline wizard.

The tall figure then smirked, a dangerous one, looking directly at the moonlight archer, Miya. In his voice was a mixture of bitterness, rage and voilence, he declared, "The hell is the utmost witness of my vow to you. I promise, I will be the one to kill you..."
