The world is about to end? So what?

- Why do you think that i care? -- Kerren answered while looking at her. - You're supposed to! This world is your home... -- she could barely talk at this point. /// PLEASE READ MY REVIEW TO THIS NOVEL! /// - Oh? My home? Well... That's too bad then, my home is going to be destroyed... -- he pretended to think for a while -- Right! -- he exclaimed -- I'm just going to find a new one! Why bother saving one that is filled with cockroaches and wasps? -- his gaze fixed on her face, as if he was pointing at her. - You dont understand!.. You cant leave this world... We're locked here... -- she revealed, it didn't surprise Kerren at all. - Uh... Stop thinking too highly of yourself, it's you who cant leave it -- he countered her reveal with his own -- Also, why dont YOU sacrifice yourself for the sake of your home? -- he asked back. - I'm not strong enough, the barrier wont work for long!.. -- she tried to find a reason behind her hypocricity. - Well, you'll have to choose between that and looking at your planet being absorbed by that tower -- he looked at the giant pillar in the sky. -- Wait, i think i forgot to tell you something... -- he looked back at her -- I was the one who summoned it here... -- he smiled happily.

Who built it!?

Before the bulter could even spout some bullcrap Kerren said...

- If you dare to behave like that even once more i will eradicate your whole family right in front of your eyes, and then, my friend, some nice things will await you, believe me.

He didn't wait for an asnwer or anything like that, he just closed the door and went back to the bed.

He started examining his body in hopes to find that it's not his, he would try to sleep for a while if that was the case.

Sadly, this dungeon didn't have enough power to give him another body, that might be the case for others, but for Kerren?

Too bad, you wont be able to sleep even here.

That crushed some of Kerren's expectation, he wanted to use this opportunity to record this process and later implement it into his own body, but fate decided otherwise.

After half an hour or so after he hit the butler another man came, Kerren was still lying on the bed, trying to understand why fate was so cruel...

Whoever came started banging on the door again, saying agressive stuff like...

- I will break your teeth!

- Come out and i wont cripple you today!

And many more "insults" that Kerren didn't care about.

Why didn't he care? That was a scenario after all, he wasn't as strong here... Or was he?

Due to his unique body and his special situation of being imprisoned in it, the dungeon wasn't able to separate him from his body, thus, it had no other choice to put Kerren as a whole inside of this scenario...

That meant that he didn't lose any of his power unlike others!

If he had a normal body, he would now have a useless half-crippled body without any good talents, but he wasn't normal, since his body wasn't even a body in the first place.

It was like a coat that his soul wore. Due to that he could do many things, but couldn't do even more, such as sleep, which, as i said before, was one of his goals when he came here.

As he was thinking, another voice started being loud on the opposite side of the door. This one was younger and seemingly had some dignity, Kerren guessed that this was one of his brothers.

- Julien, come out now, i need you to explain what happened.

He spoke slowly and it was pleasant to the ear. Kerren, however, didn't care about that.

He got up from the bed and strode up to the door once more.

- What do you want? Dont you understand that i'm busy right now? -- Kerren didn't sound like a noble at all! More like a thug whose underling dared to interrupt him!

- Huh? That's how you speak to your older brother? I wonder what has gone into yourhead -- This time his voice wasn't nice as it was before, it sounded angry and on the verge of becoming hateful!

- I became a proper human, that's what

Kerren said so and opened the door. He saw a somewhat tall and handsome figure in a nice black-white-gold costume, he didn't know how it's called, but he somewhat liked it, wondering if he can get one for himself.

At first, that figure who was his brother didn't do or say anything, he simply stared at Kerren who did the same.

Then, after 10 or so second...

- I see that u've become braver than before. Good. -- he smiled as he said it. -- I wonder if you'll be willing to have a duel with me? -- he said as he tilted his head a little.

Kerren, however, moved somewhere in mid of the previous sentence, as he was 5 or so steps ahead he said...

- Dont bother me with that boring crap, i'm going to the library.

It really was boring. He could already see that this guy was a swordmaster at his age, but so what? At best it was Sword Mastery 3, not only it was garbage in Kerren's eyes, he beat some people with that skill even in his previous life!

Of course, those weren't fair fight or anything, he either ambushed them or simply poisoned their food. But so what? He still won in the end!

As he was walking to the library that... he didn't know where it was located... Yeah... Well, anyway, as he was walking his "brother" tried to say something, but since Kerren was Kerren, he didn't care.

Those were threats or something, so what? He can wipe out this whole family because his real power was still present. At worst he would fail the scenario and will have to try again.

...

15 or so minutes later Kerren was still walking around the mansion, not understading a single thing about it's architecture.

-* Who the f*kk built this place? Why are there so many corridors? Where's the f*kking library!?

He was angry internally, obviously due to him not being able to find his goal.

Why wont he use his spells? That was too dangerous, it was a noble's mansion, if an unathorised spell suddenly scouted the area, what would people think?

Of course, that might not be the case and they wont even detect it, but if they did? Kerren didn't rush anywhere, he had approximately 4 days to complete the scenario.

It could be lower or higher, but usually it ended as soon as he lost his last chance to complete the mission given, thus, if he did nothing but read the books he could or could not fail all of them!

Maybe the patriarch would like his strive for knowledge? He didn't know and didn't ask. Why even care about that? He just needs to copy all of the books in the library and do whatever he wanted...

Of course, there might be a problem with that, what if copying was prohibited? What if his spell didn't work in the library?

There were many moments where he could fail, but so what? Trying again was an option for him.

As he was making a 3rd circle a "maid" ran up to him...

- Young Master, do you need help?

As she asked she bowed politely and tried to force out a smile, but for some reason it looked really strange.

- Yeah. Escort me to the library.

Finally he had a chance to escape this damn maze people called their house! He wished he could skin alive the guy who planned such a horrible place!

- The library? Uh... Okay! Follow me, youn...

As she was about to continue...

- Follow? U're strong enough to carry me there, why should i walk? I'm a noble! Take me into your arm or carry me on your back - i dont care, just do so!

Kerren interrupted her and told her the one of the worst things she heard in her life! Carry him!? What the hell is this guy thinking!?

- Did you not hear me? -- Kerren rushed her.

- Yes, yes, i will carry you.

She looked defeated. Truth is... she wasn't even a maid, she was a personal guardian assigned to Julien by his father. Kerren knew that she wasn't just a maid as she was several times stronger than the guy before, but was still nothing in his eyes.

Soon enough Kerren was infront of the library, which was, as he realised, wasn't even in the mansion! That's why he couldn't find it! Well, now that he thought about it... It was somewhat logical if the library was big enough...

Anyway, as the maid carried him many people who saw that pair were amazed.

First of all - that maid wasn't someone to be messed with! It semeed that she had some backing and even Young Masters couldn't command her, only the patriarch!

Second - she didn't show herself to the public that much, even if she did she usually carried some high orders like breaking fights between the children of the patriarch.

And now... she was carrying Kerren in his arms!? What joke was that?

- Young Master, we've arrived.

The "maid" said as she looked at the building before then.

It was a giant cathedral-looking thingy, Kerren was afraid that copying all of would take too much time...
