The world is about to end? So what?

- Why do you think that i care? -- Kerren answered while looking at her. - You're supposed to! This world is your home... -- she could barely talk at this point. /// PLEASE READ MY REVIEW TO THIS NOVEL! /// - Oh? My home? Well... That's too bad then, my home is going to be destroyed... -- he pretended to think for a while -- Right! -- he exclaimed -- I'm just going to find a new one! Why bother saving one that is filled with cockroaches and wasps? -- his gaze fixed on her face, as if he was pointing at her. - You dont understand!.. You cant leave this world... We're locked here... -- she revealed, it didn't surprise Kerren at all. - Uh... Stop thinking too highly of yourself, it's you who cant leave it -- he countered her reveal with his own -- Also, why dont YOU sacrifice yourself for the sake of your home? -- he asked back. - I'm not strong enough, the barrier wont work for long!.. -- she tried to find a reason behind her hypocricity. - Well, you'll have to choose between that and looking at your planet being absorbed by that tower -- he looked at the giant pillar in the sky. -- Wait, i think i forgot to tell you something... -- he looked back at her -- I was the one who summoned it here... -- he smiled happily.

Time Capsule; Car;

Kerren ran towards the main camp. Of course, he was supposed to wreck the mages first, but they were now weaker than a normal soldier due to running out of mana. Of course, they could absorb some crystals to replenish it... but who would give them time to?

As he ran, Kerren observed the overall situation on the battlefield. Orcs dominated humans on all fronts! It was an obvious thing.

Why, you might ask? Well, let me explain.

This dungeon had a hidden scenario inside of it. People wouldn't normally think that a dungeon has one since they're very rare. This particular one, for example, allowed one to choose the sides he wishes to fight for.

Many people wouldn't even think of approaching orcs, they were barbarians, after all. So why did Kerren choose to support them? Exactly because of that. Powers of two camps couldn't be compared at all!

Orcs were much stronger than human, because of that the dungeon was ranked "A"! In reality, however, if one chose to support orc... he wouldn't even need to do anything. If one chose humans? Well, good luck defending against an overwhelming power!

As such, Kerren chose the orc side. After all, just as he said he was here solely for profits. He didn't care about that honor thing or whatever. In the end all humans pursued profit and power, he wasn't different, it's just that he didn't even try to hide it like others.

After several minutes he finally arrived at the human camp, where, for some reason, nobody fought! That puzzled Kerren, as the fight clearly had started some time ago, and now that he didn't look at that place... it stopped?

Why exactly would that happen? Did they win already, or was it that the captain was too soft-hearted? As it turned out it was the latter. As Kerren came closer he noticed that a random old guy with the sword he saw were talking peacefully!

- Captain! What's the meaning of it!? -- Kerren said loudly.

- Kerren! Those people are defending their... -- the captain tried to persuade, but Kerren interrupted immediately...

- I dont f*kking care who they're trying to defend! Kill them immediately or i will report your disobedience to the guildmaster! Guess whose side he will take!? -- it was a bluff. Why would the guildmaster side with him genociding some fellow humans? That didn't make any sense at all!

- I know, i know! Listen to what i have to say! -- the captain, however, wasn't barking back for some reason -- Their world has dungeons as well! It didn't have any mana at first, and then it suddenly appeared, just like in our world! -- he tried to persuade Kerren with crucial information that the old guy told him.

- Oh? -- Kerren was indeed interested in that -- So, what did he tell you? -- Kerren asked back.

- Well, i've told you everything already. -- he scratched his head with a chuckle -- Do we really have to kill them now? It's not like we cant let them escape... -- he wouldn't propose such a thing if he wasn't confident in his authority, he relied on it to persuade Kerren to let the humans go.

- Young one, why do you want to kill us in the first place? Are you after riches? -- the old guy suddenly asked Kerren, it seems like the captain already told him what happened.

- Riches?.. You dont realize what you are, do you?.. -- Kerren looked at the old guy with pity in his eyes -- Listen, you're long dead. This place is a dungeon, just a time capsule with predetermined outcome. You've failed in reality, it doesn't change anything for you even if we beat the orcs, for us, however? We will be able to save all of our men and get spoils easily! -- he suddenly revealed something that shocked all who heard it! It was, of course, not complete bullshit. It was a widespread theory back in his previous life.

Why was it a thing? Because it was too coincidential that so many things and monsters existed at the same point of time. There were even people claiming that they were in the same dungeon several times! All of it made people think that they were just little playgrounds made by some higher being.

- We... already lost? -- the old guy couldn't keep his cool -- But... we have support coming, they will be here soon! It can't be that we lost just like that! -- he wasn't willing to believe that!

- Wether you want it or not... it already happened. And you -- Kerren looked at the captain -- I will report that to the guildmaster, your stupidity cost us time, what if orc saw us talk to them? You think we would be able to leave unscathed? -- he ridiculed the captain!

- But... -- he tried to answer...

- Save all that for the guildmaster, i'm not here to listen to your bullcrap. Kill the old guy, that'll trigger the end of the mission. -- Kerren ordered with a strong voice.

- I understand. -- the captain took out his sword -- I'm sorry. May your soul rest in peace. -- he prayed for the old guy, attacking him.

He obviously wanted to defend, but he could stop captain's slash that immediately ended his life.

The window signaling the end of the mission appeared. It distributed the rewards and set the time limit before the dungeon closed for good.

The captain looked sad and didn't want to admit that Kerren was right. It really complete the mission as he said!

- Men! Take everything you can, dont be too sad about it, you all heard what Kerren said! It's all just an illusion in the first place! -- the captain announced loudly, ordering his men to loot the camp.

- It's not an illusion, it's a time capsule. Those people are real, it's just that they have no hope of escaping. Ever. -- Kerren said quietly, so only the captain could hear it.

He then grabbed the sword off the old guy's body and placed it in his inventory.

- I'm done here, send my share to my apartmen, ask the guildmaster where it's located. -- he added as he sprinted towards the orc forces.

Some time later he arrived before the old orc, standing right in front of him.

- Amusing hu... -- as he was about to say something...

Kerren slashed his body with a mana-wave! It was split in two halves! Orc around him immediately wanted to grab their weapons but the same fate awaited them!

His expression didn't change at all... before the window popper up again. It said that a secret ending was achieved and he got additional rewards! They weren't exactly big, only amounted to around 40kg of "A" crystals... but it was all his!

Doing that, however, expended way more mana than he expected! He spent nearly 70% of his full mana pool! The attack was strong, yes, but wasting so much mana just to kill several weak orcs?.. That was too bad! He needed to come up with a new method or change the existing one!

Maybe he could optimise that mana wave or something, since now it wasted too much mana even though it had great power. It wasn't worth it.

The captain and others saw the window too, as they too raided the dungeon. That window made them wonder what Kerren did... They didn't think for a long time since they had work to do.

In less than an hour they all left the dungeon. It was almost completely empty and only some government clerks were there, waiting to collect data about the dungeon.

Kerren, obviously, didn't bother with them and simply said that he's a normal soldier and that they had to ask the captain, not him.

After that, he started walking towards his university, thinking about restructuring his mana wave, as it currently spent too much mana for it's power output. Even if the latter was doubled he would do so.

However, as he was walking near the road a car suddenly rode closer to him and one of the backseat doors opened, seemingly inviting Kerren.

He didn't bother thinking about it since few in this world could battle him one on one, so he entered the car, looking at the person who was already sitting on the backseat.
