The world is about to end? So what?

- Why do you think that i care? -- Kerren answered while looking at her. - You're supposed to! This world is your home... -- she could barely talk at this point. /// PLEASE READ MY REVIEW TO THIS NOVEL! /// - Oh? My home? Well... That's too bad then, my home is going to be destroyed... -- he pretended to think for a while -- Right! -- he exclaimed -- I'm just going to find a new one! Why bother saving one that is filled with cockroaches and wasps? -- his gaze fixed on her face, as if he was pointing at her. - You dont understand!.. You cant leave this world... We're locked here... -- she revealed, it didn't surprise Kerren at all. - Uh... Stop thinking too highly of yourself, it's you who cant leave it -- he countered her reveal with his own -- Also, why dont YOU sacrifice yourself for the sake of your home? -- he asked back. - I'm not strong enough, the barrier wont work for long!.. -- she tried to find a reason behind her hypocricity. - Well, you'll have to choose between that and looking at your planet being absorbed by that tower -- he looked at the giant pillar in the sky. -- Wait, i think i forgot to tell you something... -- he looked back at her -- I was the one who summoned it here... -- he smiled happily.

Anger; Sale;

Several days passed. Kerren finally acquired the skill that he spent so much time on!

However, that didn't go as smoothly as he wanted. First of all, he was able to observe whatevered happened as he acquired it. He didn't notice it before, but it seemed like something just "allowed" him to use it.

Nothing in him changed at all, more than that, he already knew how to use that skill but still couldn't. That bothered him a lot, it simply meant that it didn't matter how strong he is, since if he met whoever gave him that power... he will be powerless before him.

Yes, of course, it was a great thing that one could simply learn a great skill by reading and no practice at all... but it seems that the other option wasn't available at all!

All in all, those books were just permits to use said skill. Kerren didn't want to rely on such things. That didn't make any sense, he wont be stronger if he did that, that just meant that he had more borrowed power...

Well, it's not like he had any other choice in the first place, but if he needed to he would only rely on his own basic skills.

However, it wasn't all that negative. Even though Kerren didn't actually own that power he could use parts of it independently from one another, meaning that he could put the absobrtion part somewhere else even if he didn't know how to use the skill itself!

For example, even before he gained the skill he used parts of the knowledge he got from the book to improve his digestive system, it worked without any problems at all!

Thus, those books were still useful if they had a concept that is unknown for Kerren. If, for example, one book explained how to use fire magic - Kerren would read it simply to know how to invoke it, it didn't matter what the skill was.

With that thought in mind he called the guildmaster...

- Kerren. -- the guildmaster answered the call almost immediately -- What happened in the dungeon? K'orne told me that you've made some questionable decisions along the way. Mind explaining yourself? -- he decided to get to the point immediately.

- Who the f*kk is K'orne? Well, anyway, i didn't do anything wrong, profits come first when you raid the dungeon and since there were no casualties whatsoever i dont understand why u're complaining -- Kerren didn't bother with that question, he did everything right -- Also, i need you to use some of my share from the raid to buy me skills books, just get me some basic fire, water, ice spells etc, the more concepts they have the better, what the skill is doesn't matter -- he also requested another thing from the guildmaster.

- Books wont be a problem, but we still have to talk about the dungeon -- he still wanted to pursue the "problem" -- You are too merciless, even if you are right about the dungeons it's too cruel to fight against humans... -- he couldn't end his thought as Kerren interrupted.

- I dont care. Humans fight each other every single day and now i'm too cruel for killing a bunch of people that aren't even of out world? More than that, they were inside a dungeon! -- Kerren didn't want to listen to that speech about morale -- Also, do you really think that you wont have to fight against humans when so many dungeons emerge every day? -- he asked back!

- Well, that would be different from what you did... you had a choice and you choose to help orcs! -- the guildmaster rebuked.

- I killed both of them, he didn't tell you that, did he? -- he said with a scorn -- I'll tell you that once and wont bother with it ever again... Whoever is inside a dungeon you see is not real, they're not humans, not orcs! They're just trapped beings! Imagine that it's a videogame or something. That'll be all, i dont want to lecture you on basic logic, i'm waiting for my books -- saying that Kerren ended the call.

-* Too cruel, yeah, right... -- it seemed that Kerren remembered something from his past that didn't make him happy at all...

Soon after Kerren came closer to a certain mountain of wooden boxes just laying around. They were ores that Kerren requested from the guildmaster. Those weren't all that expensive and were mostly just common ones, like iron on Earth.

It didn't mean that they were dirt cheap, it's that they didn't have much use and even now equipment made with them wasn't held in high regard.

Kerren, however, knew a bit more than people of his world. Those ores that he now had could be used to make a KB1 alloy! It wasn't all that good with mana but had really good physical defences.

If Kerren were to make some armor or weapons using it it would be around "B" rank, which is literally nothing in his eyes.

He, however, didn't think about it. For any product there will be a customes. Thus, he started smelting it little by little.

Sadly, the amount of ores he had wouldn't allow him to suddenly become the richest guy in the world, at best he would be able to buy one or two "A" mana potions.

Still, it was a great pay for several hours worth of time. Thus, he started working on it.

...

Half a day later he finally stopped screaming and thrashing around his apartment. Why would he do that? Well, he failed on some crucial steps several times and had around 40% of the total amount of product he initially thought he'll have.

That made him angry, thus he vented it on his surroundings. It's not like he was unstable or anything, it's just that it was easier to do that than just fail even more.

He, however, wasn't just angry, he was also somewhat happy that he had those 40%. He didn't have any experience in making armor at all, so to him, even though it made him angry, it was a great success!

Instead of telling that he made something to the guildmaster, Kerren exited his house and went straight to the university. It was around 9 in the morning right now, so he first wanted to try selling that armor to the students.

Kerren only had 3 full sets of that armor instead of 7 he could make, but that would still allow him to buy one "A" mana increasing potion! That wasn't bad at all!

Walking around the university for a while, he tried to figure out the place where the highest amount of students were, soon finding it. It wasn't all that better than the other places but students here had higher status than those in other.

It was a nice place near a tree, there were leaves everywhere and even thought it was almost winter there were no snow and the temperature was quite high.

Kerren then laid out those sets that he had on the ground. He didn't bother making a fancy stand or anything, why would he? He simply took out a piece of a box the ore was in and scrambled some words on it with a simple spell...

"S CLASS ARMOR FOR SALE! KERREN GUARANTEES QUALITY!"... Well, even if it's not S class, who would dare to call him out on that?...
