The world is about to end? So what?

- Why do you think that i care? -- Kerren answered while looking at her. - You're supposed to! This world is your home... -- she could barely talk at this point. /// PLEASE READ MY REVIEW TO THIS NOVEL! /// - Oh? My home? Well... That's too bad then, my home is going to be destroyed... -- he pretended to think for a while -- Right! -- he exclaimed -- I'm just going to find a new one! Why bother saving one that is filled with cockroaches and wasps? -- his gaze fixed on her face, as if he was pointing at her. - You dont understand!.. You cant leave this world... We're locked here... -- she revealed, it didn't surprise Kerren at all. - Uh... Stop thinking too highly of yourself, it's you who cant leave it -- he countered her reveal with his own -- Also, why dont YOU sacrifice yourself for the sake of your home? -- he asked back. - I'm not strong enough, the barrier wont work for long!.. -- she tried to find a reason behind her hypocricity. - Well, you'll have to choose between that and looking at your planet being absorbed by that tower -- he looked at the giant pillar in the sky. -- Wait, i think i forgot to tell you something... -- he looked back at her -- I was the one who summoned it here... -- he smiled happily.

A thing to brag about.

Some time after the torrent dwindled Kerren started "repairing" his body.

Since it was badly damaged and he didn't really remembered how he's supposed to look like he decided to make a new body.

He was a genius who will ascend above and beyond, shouldn't he be tall, handsome and awesome in general?

Well, Kerren didn't think too much about it, as he simply began sculpting his new body.

It wasn't hard as he was somewhat used to it by this point, but he still had some problims with proportions and muscles.

Yeah, the outline was human-like, but if any person who knows biologocy of a human looked at him... They would think that whatever this is - it's not a human.

His priority was making a body that looked good. It didn't really matter if he had any organs or muscles, it's not like he had them before, but could still move.

Of course, it was a positive and a negative change at the same time.

He couldn't get injured, of course, he took some damage, so what? Stitch it back up and go! However, it wasted mana, and if he was out of it? He's as good as dead.

Another negative thing was that he couldn't become stronger by training. What would he train? He doesn't have any muscles, his whole body is just a husk with a soul!

Thus, the only option for him was to increase his total mana capacity, which was necessary. Another thing that could help him was mana purity, as it turned out it is a concept that Kerren didn't know about.

Of course, it's not like variant mana didn't exist, it's just that Kerren didn't know that it could be purer than it is.

He was, however, wrong. Mana is mana, how could it be pure or not? Mana crystals - sure, but mana is a whole different thing! Just between you and me though, dont tell him that if you ever have a chance!

He had plans to make it a real body unlike the one he has now, but he was still too far from doing it, he didn't even know basic biology, what body-creating could he think about?

As such, he spent some time making a new body for himself, he needed a completely new look as two of his old identities were now unusable.

However, as he was half-done a sudden thought assaulted his mind...

-* Why am i not running from this place?.. Couldn't they just track that mana torrent on me?..

His expression was somewhat strange, he couldn't understand why he would stay HERE of all places! Yeah, it was nice and all, but so what? He used something akin to a nucler bomb here, of course people will arive soon!

As such, he began running back to city. Of course, he could've chosen a different place, but the city he lived in was... big, i'd like to say it like that, but i wont.

It's population, as of now, was 230 million people. Of course, the actual number varied each day, but on average it was something around it.

Why was it that big? Well, initially it was just a provincial city with population of 2 million at best, but with later years people discovered that area around the city was somewhat special.

As people soon noticed, the whole city was almost like a game event. The more people were living in it - more dungeons spawned.

Of course, it was like that all over the planet, but here it could be noticed with a naked eye!

Even if you were just going around the street you could see several dungeons or various difficulties!

Did that not happen in other places? Well, it did, but here... at least twice as much dungeons spawned! As such, it was a perfect place to raid dungeons! Thus the sudden popularity of the place.

The name of the city? Well, originally it was called "Gimbertown", in the name of a national hero Gimber "Man Of Steel" Downworth, but in later years it was renamed to "Dungeon city".

It was a bland name but at least people knew where they were going.

As Kerren ran to the city, this time it was an urget matter so he had to, he thought about many things, such as his future plans and the consequences of his actions.

It's not like he felt guilty because he killed so much people, it was completely different, he felt glad that he will have less competition! Maybe he accidently killed a random genius! The only sad thing is that three more would be born...

What people am i talking about? Oh, well, when he released that much mana in the world half of the lower-ranked dungeons simply... erupted.

Yep, just like that. You know much people Kerren had "killed" by doing that? Around 390 mil if we count all deaths that will happen because of those eruptions.

Did he know that number? Nope, would he care even if he knew? He would feel happy that he has killed so many people with just one deed!

It's not like he's a psycho or anything, it's just... he felt sense of achievement. Who else could brag that they killed almost 400 million people? Not a single person on earth! Yet...

However, the consiquence that he wasn't thinking wasn't him "accidently" eruption so many dungeons, it was mana itself.

As i told you before the more mana a certain place had the more wondorous things will happen there. As such, if a whole planet had more mana, what do you think will happen?

People will get stronger all over the place! It'll just make things harder for Kerren on the long run! He didn't know how many permit were used in his previous life, what if it was just one?!

He wont able to fight against S ranks from his previous life. Yes, they wont be able to oneshot him, but he wont be able to deal any serious damage either, thus it was technically a loss!

As such, he decided to be a bit more careful and observe the overall situation first. If the change that he brought with releasing so much mana didn't do him any good - he wont use any more permit even if he could.

He would find a way to absorb all of that mana into himself! Wouldn't that make him the strongest, by far!?

That, however, was just wishful thinking. Even if he would be able to pull it off - it would be akin to overcharging a battery, so what if it has more mana now? It'll break once that charge goes down...

Well, with Kerren's special body that might not be the case, some testing is needed, but i am almost sure that trying to do that is basically... not a good idea.

Several hours later Kerren's half-made body that he covered up in some pieces of clothes he still had arrived to the city.

Going in like that would bring him a lot of trouble, thus he decided to stay in an abandoned house he saw.

It wasn't anything big or special, just a normal thing after some gang war that happened. Oh, sorry, guild war, they were different, haha!
