I almost died. Again.
If I hadn't regained control of my body and managed at the last minute and created numerous clones with my blood and guarded and my full force healing healing the damage I suffered, I might have gone to the other side.
"Arrggh..." I groaned as I poked out of the black layer that used to be my skin.
Healing magic - Chrysalis. It sacrificed the outer layer of my skin and converted it to the strongest shield for a second.
It left scarring damage and I couldn't use it too frequently because... well, I'm literally shedding my own skin.
Chrysalis was a cross between Lifebound Arts and healing magic. I created the move to defend myself against sure kill, on hit attacks.
"Ouch..." I removed the layer that used to be my skin and stared at my new, pinkish, baby skin.
Another reason why I don't use Chrysalis is because my body becomes weaker and I become really thin skinned.
