Inter-school battle 9

I know my thoughts, in my mind it is simply that I, a higher being with a superior form should not sully herself with such a lowly being who is nothing but a beast!

How many times I had inwardly sneered at those wolves, hyenas, cheetahs, vultures, serpents, dragons, lions--all of them!

For being mere beasts who had the intelligence of lower life forms suitable for beasts?

Strength?

They may have..endurance, loyalty...but they meant nothing to me back then. Only that they serve me and willingly die.

"That's right…"

Their deaths back then could be prevented but-

A memory flickered, slowly materialising; horns grew from like a halo crown, behind my skull outward encircling the side of my skull then upward about ten inches in length. Twisted around the onyx horns were peach blossoms while the hair was drawn away from my face in thick ropy locs in the exact colour as the one at present.
