The wisdom of Trees : Wisdom fruits

The Trees gives wisdom to those who ask it. Such a greatest Tree once existed in a faraway place from here. Here is the world similar to earth, where technology is replaced with magic, counties with kingdoms ,humans & ordinary creatures along with magical creatures and super humans existed in the world mostly in harmony with each other.

It existed thousands of miles away and after crossing 4 oceans & 4 mountains. It would glow in a bizarre way and produce a fruit every 100 years.

The fruit is known to cure even the incurable diseases when taken at the right time of the year at the right place in the right way else may lead to disastrous consequences. If the fruit is not taken in time, it falls down to become a tree on its own. Over the years, lot of fruit has become a separate wisdom tree. Each tree would give a fruit. Now there are 100 trees, each producing a fruit every 100 years. if another fruit is not taken, then first fruit that falls into the ground will become goblin. The goblin will then eat all the trees and the fruits. Thus for another wisdom tree to appear it will take another 1000 years.

A young boy and his companion dobby the elf set to retrieve the fruit from the wisdom tree to present the fruit becoming,which will lead to eating of trees and fruits and ultimately the disappearance of the wisdom trees for another 1000 years. Thus for the fruit from the wisdom tree , humanity has to wait for 1100 years.

The young boy and elf are sent by the elf elders to fetch the wisdom fruits, as the boy and his elf has nothing to lose.

Will the young boy and his elf retrieve the wisdom fruits or does humanity have to wait for 1000 years for the appearance of the wisdom trees or 1100 years for the wisdom fruits.
