Chapter 5

"Psychological problems?" Mutter Steve repeated.

Steve thought of his neighbor, Milo, who had lived for three years in such dire circumstances. He still seems to be the same as before: loving life, gentle and kind. He regretted his lost job as a teacher. He seemed reasonable and humble, without the slightest sign of any psychological problems.

When he opened his flower shop, Steve decided he would visit there often, because he used to really like plants.

At six in the morning, Steve opened the door of his house and stepped out. Due to the drastic change in the weather, he was wearing a very thick gray jacket, but even so, the temperature outside still made him tremble unconsciously, and he wondered how many people got sick and flu from the sudden temperature change like this.

Being a tour guide is different from any other job. Tour guides do not have a fixed travel time, sometimes even spending a few days and a few nights outside is normal. Rino told him the working hours today but didn't ask him to prepare anything else. Today's trip was expected to be short.

Steve raised his hands and straightened his jacket, then walked towards the elevator and waited for the elevator to come down. Steve observed the number of numbers decreasing on the elevator's numeric panel when someone came next to him. Steve was a little surprised, but then he remembered that his neighbor who had been missing for three years had returned yesterday.

"Good morning, you woke up early." Milo yawned, his face full of sleepiness.

"Because I have to go to work. Why is Mr. Milo out so early?" Ask Steve.

Milo rubbed his eyes, then he replied in a sleepy whisper, "Didn't I tell you yesterday that I wanted to open a flower shop? The more I think about it, the more I believe it's a good idea, so I plan to go out today to investigate what flowers are in vogue these days, and buy some flower seeds to plant."

The elevator door opened with a *ding-dong* sound. Steve didn't continue his conversation with Milo as they stepped into the elevator. Steve stood expressionlessly next to Milo, who was still yawning, and it was only when they stepped out of the door of the building where Milo was shaking from the cold that he was now fully awakened by the cold.

Seeing Milo, who wrapped his body tightly in his clothes and ran to wait for the bus, Steve thought, 'Don't he and ordinary people look the same? He doesn't look like a Survivor at all.'

After boarding the tram, Steve leaned back in his seat. The early risers around were talking about the Survivors, and some of the sleepy-looking social workers were a little worried about the matter because they thought that the Survivors who returned from the boundless stream of the world with strange abilities would surely be a strong competitor in their work.

It wouldn't be strange if one or two Survivors appeared out of nowhere and worked. After all, the Survivors' ability was to fight with their lives. Very sorry for those employees who will have the opportunity to move up the ranks.

With his hands in his pockets all the way to the gathering place, Steve saw that Teddy and Rino had arrived. They waved at Steve, signaling Steve to come.

"These are your clothes." Teddy handed Steve a set of work clothes, "This year has been really good. A week ago, the temperature was as hot as a fireplace. Today the temperature is cold as if we are going to face winter. I think in the next few days the temperature will be even higher. Drop below zero degrees."

"After all, even the people of the boundless world stream came out. Compared to the temperature, it is more extraordinary." Rino interrupted.

Teddy nodded in agreement and said, "You're right."

Changing into his work clothes, Steve put on his hat to cover his white hair, "What time do we leave today?"

"At 7:30, the passengers are supposed to come to the meeting point later. Remember to keep an eye on them when you get to the top, especially the young ones that are coming along." Rino was still a little worried, "There are a lot of people here because of the crater that the Survivors hit. When the time comes, I'll explain. Since Steve doesn't like to talk, you'll keep the line."

"Okay." Steve responded, "Our schedule is very early today. Is there another team in the afternoon?"

"Yeah, to be honest, I don't quite understand the admiration those young people have for the Survivors." Rino shook his head, "To the point of having to come here to personally see the hole that one of the Survivors made."

Teddy laughed loudly, "Hey, I'm telling you, you really don't treat Steve as a young person. I remember that Steve is only 23 years old."

"Ha?" Rino was silent for a moment, then laughed together, "I can't help it, Steve is really outdated and mature, I forgot that he was young."

Steve moved his body a little, then he saw someone coming from a distance, "They have arrived."

Teddy and Rino rushed to greet them, showing the tourists the way. They told the people to get on the bus and wait a moment. This time the trip was with many people, so it would be a long wait.

The tourists came one by one, most of them were young people. Before getting on the bus, they kept asking if there really was a survivor hitting a hole. There was also a person holding a video camera, maybe a video blogger doing a vlog, and after seeing Steve, he already wished that he could record Steve too. But after being rejected many times, he got on the bus with a disappointed face.

Time passed, and quickly it was 07:30.

"Time to go." Steve looked at Rino, "Has everyone come yet?"
