The Main Object

(From Blue's Perspective)

"Do you like it? Do you like your gift, baby?"

My son was a lot better than before. He would now giggle more and cry less. Ruby had sent him a plant of some kind of violet flowers. They were called 'The Violets' here, while in my world, their name was African Violets.

He giggled as he worshipped the new plant with his eyes. I had never seen a baby so excited about something. He moved his hands and legs excitedly as I took him near it.

"Aunt Ruby has sent you such a beautiful gift, Dion! Look at those flowers! Aren't they beautiful?"

I personally never found much beauty in things like this, but seeing my son happy made me enjoy such little things too.

"Do you want to touch it?"
