"Hey,'' I walk into the room and he jumps up from the bed hiding something under the pillow. I raise a brow because he looks suspicious as fuck right now. All week, he has been acting weird—like there is something that he doesn't want to tell me. I don't like that my mind is going in this direction but I have tried to read him and every time I think I have figured it out, he closes off again.
"How was the meeting?'' he asks me but all my mind is on what he did. I can swear, that I saw something. He kept something away from me. We are like open books to each other.

"Very good actually. There was a sighting a couple of towns away. It seems like Fallon is hiding at a motel."
