Chapter 44 Attack
Tony groans
" Where am I?"
Aldrich smiled
" You are in our house. You see I have captured you."
Tony looked around. He saw Maya. Tony said angrily
" You betrayed from me. Why did you do that?"
Aldrich laughed
" Because she was my person all along. Poor Tony Stark didn't even know that."
Tony laughed as he blamed himself
" Aldrich what do you need? Money?"
Aldrich laughed
" I don't need your money. I need whole U.S."
Tony was shocked
" You have gone crazy. Avengers won't let you do that."
Aldrich laughed even more. He pointed to himself
" I can beat any Avengers members. Even Thor,Hulk and Knight can't stop me."
Tony looked to him as he was watching a joke.
" Psh, that is the funniest thing, I have ever heard. I admit your desperate virus is good but compared to Thor's thunder, Hulk's power or Knight's mind; you are nothing. Each of them can stomp you under their feet."
Aldrich shouts
" I said I can beat them. Besides you are nothing but a hostage. I can kill you whenever I want."
After saying that Aldrich hit Tony's abdomen. Tony groaned
" Bitch, kill me if you can."
Aldrich smiled ferocious
" Oh I can."
Aldrich's hand glowed red. Maya shouts
" Aldrich stop. We need him."
Aldrich snorted. His turned normal again.
" Well I better go. Jake watch him."
Jake nodded. Tony watched Aldrich as he tries to summon his armor. Tony muttered
" Just a little more."
Jake watched Tony suspiciously
" What are you doing?"
Tony smiled
" This."
His hand armor came right in time. Tony freed himself from the ropes. Jake immediately attacked toward Tony. Tony hit Jake with his beam. Tony looked to window
" Where is the others?"
Tony sighed
" Guess I have to do with this piece."
He fired to incoming men. However
" Watch out."
Bang*
Maya jumped in front of Tony. She was hit by the bullets. Tony looked to her
" You why?"
Maya smiled
" To redeem myself."
Tony fired to gunman. He said with hoarse voice
" I will get help."
Maya shook her head
" Go. Stop Aldrich before it is too late."
Tony silently nodded and left. Maya looked to sky.
" Guess this is my end. How ironic."
Suddenly Arthur's voice came out.
" Well done. You have redeemed yourself."
Maya looked to Arthur
" So you are here. I did my best. I did good."
Maya silently teared like a little girl. Arthur wiped her tears. Maya whispers
" Am I going to die?"
Arthur shook his head
" Humanity needs you Maya. You will become a hero."
Maya saw a gentle light. This light was warm and kind. Her wound recovered in naked eyes. Arthur looked to fainted Maya. He caressed her hair.
" You did good. Now leave it to us."
In the airplane of president
President looked to unknown man in Iron Patriot's armor.
" Who the hell are you?"
Man smiled
" We need you, president. You just need to come with us."
President wanted to refuse however man caught him. Man looked to terrified people.
" Ladies and gentlemen, I will give you a big gift."
Boom*
He teared right side of the plane. People screamed as they sucked out.
In the air
Tony saw the President's airplane.
" Rhodes can you hear me?"
Rhodes answered
" Tony, I can hear you."
Tony looked to explosion
" Rhodes, explosion occurred."
Rhodes was shocked
" Tony, listen to me. Save them one by one."
Tony calculated
" Rhodes if I do that, some of them will die. I will try to get them all."
Rhodes said anxiously
" But that is impossible. Pressure will crush you into the sea."
Tony said confidently
" Relax I can do that."
Tony flew over to people. He said
" Everyone grab the hands of person next to you."
People tried to connect themselves. Thankfully they did it. Right before the crush. Tony grabbed woman and man's hand.
" Up we go."
He used all his power to fly.

Tony succeeded. He saved them all. Tony said to people.
" Guys I have to go now. So I am releasing now."
Tony released people. He immediately flew to different direction. Rhodes looked from the back.
" Tony wait for me. Gosh he is so unreliable."
" Need a ride."
Rhodes looked back and found Arthur.
