Chapter 40 Stark mansion is under attack

Next day

Arthur rubbed his eyes, he gently kissed two beauties beside him. Natasha opened her eyes

" Going somewhere?"

Arthur nodded

" Yeah Tony needs me."

Natasha yawned

" I will rest a little. You tell it to Fury."

Arthur sighed

" I got this."

After saying that Arthur opened his portal. He directly went 2 km away from Tony's house.

Arthur looked to sky

" They should be here soon. I have to change myself. Vampire form."

Arthur's bright golden hair turned into moon like silver hair and his eyes became red. His clothes turned into dark cloak. Arthur's skin became more pale and his muscle shrank. Two sharp fangs came out from his mouth. If someone saw his form, he will be devil like beautiful. Arthur clasped his hands. Bright blood came out from his body. Arthur looked to south.

" 20 km away. Alright I am counting on you Tony. Don't disappoint me."

In helicopters

Pilot said loudly

" Sir we are close."

Man shakes his head

" Get close. We will give him price for offending us."

Pilot nodded

" I understand sir."

In the mansion

Pepper gave tea to the woman. Tony frowned

" So tell me what brings you here Dr. Maya Hansen?"

Maya forced smiled

" Tony don't be cold to me."

Tony snorted

" I know people like you who shamelessly leech off."

Pepper said with discomfort

" Tony stop."

Maya gestured

" It's alright. I am here to warn you Tony. They are far stronger than you think."

Tony said with pride

" Are they stronger than Thor, Hulk and Future knight? Compared to them they are jokes. They don't have courage to attack me."

Maya sighed

" They are crazy, you know. In order to reach their goal, they want to kill every heroes in earth."

Tony sneered

" People like them don't know how deep water is in the earth. Even Steve can squeeze them into pieces."

Suddenly

Jarvis voice came out

" Sir we found unknown flying objects coming to our mansion."

Tony looked outside. He found 6 choppers in the sky.

" Shit. Jarvis give me my armor."

Boom*

Rocket hit the mansion.Maya dodged with Pepper. As for Tony he was trying wear his armor.

Boom*

Another rocket hit the mansion.

Boom,boom,boom*

Tony shouts

" Leave. I will cover you."

Tony wore his armor, he stands in front of the choppers.

Bang,bang, boom*

All bullets and rockets were aimed to him. Tony deployed his shield to buy time for Pepper.

Crumble*

Mansion was destroyed. Tony was falling into ocean with his armor. Tony said

" Jarvis if I die tell Pepper that I am sorry and tell Arthur that I have done my best."

After saying that he blacks out. Choppers scanned around and finally left.

Pepper looked around, she found herself in the

bright dome.

" Pepper it's okay."

Pepper looked back and found Arthur

" Arthur, where is Tony?"

Arthur shakes his head

" He is alright but now he needs to find himself."

Pepper sighed with relief

" You mean he went to somewhere."

Arthur nodded

" Yes, this is my test for him. I want him to mature as a superhero."

Pepper is a smart woman. She immediately understood Arthur's word. She only said

" I hope you can protect him in his need."

Arthur smiled

" Rest assured. I will protect him from any mortal danger."

Pepper nodded

" Thank you."

Arthur nodded and he lifted his arm

" Now then what should I do with you?"

It was Maya. Arthur coldly looked to her. Pepper wanted say something but she couldn't say. Arthur condensed magic. He lifted Maya. Maya was struggling in the air. Her face turned red from choking. Arthur wanted to kill her but he let her go. Arthur said sharply

" Do you think I am naive as Tony? Then you are wrong. I can see your lies."

His eyes formed star like pattern. Maya shivered

" I was wrong. Please don't kill me."

Pepper was shocked. She pointed her

" You used us. How could you?"

Arthur looked to Maya.

" Continue your play. Pepper don't tell it to Tony.

Maya I will give you a chance to redeem yourself."

Maya bowed

" Thank you. I will do as you say."

Pepper snorted

" Arthur you are too soft. She should be sent to jail."
