Chapter 81 Tyreese

John arrived outside of the fence that surrounded the main entrance. John cut the chains with his sword producing a clank. The chains hit the fence, drawing the walkers to them.There were about 20 walkers in front of then and Hector was freaking out.

John walked forward with a struggling Hector. John sliced or stabbed any walker that came close to them as he walked to the entrance. Pullingvthe glass door, a chain was on the other side, keeping it from being opened.

John swung his sword down, then he pulled the door open. John walked in holding Hector, they walked through the ground floor. There were multiple walkers on this level, meaning there was a breach somewhere.

John walked over to the doorway to the stairs, and opened the door. The stairwell was clear so John started climbing up. John reached the 4th floor and opened the door.

Standing at the end of the hall, was 7 or 8 people wearing police uniforms. They were all pointing guns in John's direction. There were also a number of people behind them, they were all wearing nurses sceubs. John pushed Hector in front of him, covering himself. John then walked forward and stopped about 10 feet away from them.

A woman stepped forward, "I'm Dawn. You are?"

John said, "John."

Dawn said, "Where is Gideon?"

John said, He's waiting nearby, right Hector?"

Hector was about to nod, but he stopped and said, "John killed him." He was going to say more, but John gripped his arm, Hector winced in pain as he began to sweat.

Dawn frowned and said, "The deal is off."

John shook his head and said, "No. It isn't. Gideon's death changes nothing. You have one of my men and I have one of yours."

Dawn frowned and said, "You have no leverage."

John said, "How about I kill Hector then?"

Dawn smiled and said, "How about I kill Tyreese?"

John then sighed before he said, "I didn't want to do this, but you forced my hand." John unsheathed his sword, blood was still dripping off of it. John then raised the blade in front of everyone and said, "Release Tyreese or I will kill Hector before all of you."

Dawn said, "And how are you going to do that?"

John didn't answer her and said, "3... 2... Last chance to let him go." Dawn looked stone cold, but the other officers looked conflicted. The people behind them looked worried, but not for Hector, they were worried about themselves.

John sighed loudly before he said, "1" John pulled back his blade about to slit his throat when another officer said, "Wait! We'll give you your man."

John moved his sword away from Hector's neck. Dawn said, "What the hell are you doing, Amanda?"

Amanda said, "Shut up Dawn, we have lost too many people already." Amanda then started walking over to John, pushing Tyreese who was in a wheelchair. As they were passing Dawn, Dawn pulled out her pistol and shot Tyreese in the chest twice.

Dawn then turned to John, but saw his eyes glowing. John shoved Hector out of the way, Hector hit the wall hard, falling unconscious. John then walked forward as Dawn looked at John with a panicked look.

A fraction of a second later Dawn aimed at John and began firing her pistol at him. Everyone was shocked by what they saw next, John walked forward slowly as he sliced each bullet that came towards him. The rest of the officers were still too shocked to aim at John.

Dawn ran out of bullets and John was now standing in front of her. Dawn kept pulling the trigger, too panicked to reload. John said, "How dare you kill my friend."

Dawn snapped out of her panic and tried to plead to John. She said, "Please--" However, that was all she could say before John's blade impaled her chest, going straight through her heart and sticking out of her back.

At this time Rick and his group came up out of a door behind the Hospital group. They saw John stabbing through the heart of Dawn and knew that something had happened. They looked over at Amanda and saw Tyreese sitting in a wheelchair, blood staining his shirt and a trail of blood pouring from his lips.

Rick and his group shouted, "Drop your weapons and kneel!" The wards were still shocked so they followed the orders easily. The officers however could not take a hint and pointed their weapons at Rick and the others.

Rick and the others didn't hesitate to shoot every last one of them. The only one that was left alive was Amanda and that was because she had dropped her weapons and got on the ground.

This whole event only lasted seconds, John finally pulled the sword out of Dawn as she groaned in pain. John then swung his katana and cut Dawn's head in half. The upper half of Dawn's head fell in front of Amanda who was on the floor. Amanda vomited before she wiped her lips and looked around in fear.

John grabbed her gun and Dawn's, before he walked over to Rick. John sighed before he said, "This trip was depressing. I knew the weather meant something."

Rick and the rest nodded solemnly and said, "Grab all the guns. Gather up every person and let's go." The group quickly followed Rick's orders.

John walked over to Tyreese and pulled out his knife before he stabbed him in the back of the head. John then walked into one of the rooms and grabbed a blanket. John wrapped him up before he picked him up and put him on his shoulder.

John then grabbed Amanda by the arm and walked over to the rest of the people. Rick and the others joined him a couple minutes later, pushing some people in wheelchairs, they were too injured to walk.

Rick walked to the door and said, "Let's go, you all are coming with us."

Amanda asked, "Where are we going?"

John said, "To our group, your joining us."

An old man said, "Why?"

Rick said, "Because you won't survive on your own." Rick then started walking down the stairs, helping to carry someone down. Luckily only 2 people were injured, so it wasn't hard to bring the injured down the stairs.

They made it down the stairs and made it to the ground floor. John was in the back holding Tyreese's body. Amanda was just in front of him looking around frantically, it seemed to John that she hadn't left the Hospital in a long time, if at all.

John walked forward standing beside her and patted her shoulder. Amanda asked, "Why would you help us?"

John said, "Because were good people, we just have to do bad things sometimes." Amanda nodded and kept looking around.

Seeing this, John said, "Calm down, would you."

Amanda said, "I can't. I don't come out of the hospital ever. I'm scared."

John said, "We won't let any walkers hurt you. Here." John handed her a pistol and she was visibly less panicked.

Amanda said, "Thank you, I feel safer just having this." John nodded as they continued to follow the group. They walked through the halls and left the hospital through the main entrance.

They walked back to their SUV, and loaded their stuff into the trunk. John said, "Alright I'll go and find another vehicle. John then ran off after he placed Tyreese's body on the ground.

John ran for a while and when he was far out of site, John summoned a large pickup truck. The truck had dust and it was very believable that John had found it.

John then drove back to the other and the Hospital group hopped in the bed of the truck. Amanda joined John sitting in the passenger seat. They then drove side by side away from the city, heading to the prison.

When they gor there everyone was shocked and amazed by the tall walls. They drove in and went towards the house and got out. Rick explained to everyone about the place.

While Rick was talking, Amy came out of the house wearing a cute coat. She walked up to John and kissed him sweetly, before she hugged John. She saw Amanda lokking over at them and sighed knowing Johm had charmed someone else. She looked up at John and saw that he was oblivious. She thought, 'He must have charmed her without even trying.' Amy smiled thinking about a new woman to talk to.

She suddenly noticed John's blood stained hands and asked, "What happened?"

John sighed before he said, "We went after the search group but everyone died. I killed the woman that shot Ty and ordered the deaths of the others." Amy was shocked hearing this, it was so unexpected.

At the same time Karen came running out and came over to John. She asked, "Where is Ty?"

John sighed before he held her shoulder, Amy grabbed her other as they walked over to the back of the truck. John uncovered Ty's face and Karen immediately broke down into tears. Amy also cried a little, as she had gotten very close to Karen. Amy and John then comforted Karen, Amanda walked over with hesitation and offered her condolences.

Karen looked at her for a second before she turned away and stared at the ground. Amanda then went back to listen to Rick.

John and Amy tried bringing Karen to their house. But Karen stopped rhem and asked John, "Would you please bury Ty for me right now? Then I'll come stay with you guys."

John nodded with a small smile and picked up Ty carefully before he began walking over to where they had planned their cemetery. John then dug an hole for Ty and lay him in there gently. John then filled the hole and put a cross with Tyreese's name at the head of the grave. John then stood with Karen and Amy, comforting her.

They stayed there for about 10 minutes, before John and Amy brought Karen back to their house. Everyone greeted Karen cheerfully, this helped her cheer up a little.

She then sat down with the women as they comforted her. John sat down in his chair to give them some space. Cassy crawled over and John picked her up kissing her cheeks lovingly. Cassy pushed John's face away as his stumble was itchy. John then held her and watched the kids movie as he zoned out.

When it was bedtime, John set up Karen in their guest room. Then John went with his wives to their bedroom and put the kids to bed before they lay down as well. John held Carly and Maggie as he lay on his back, then John slept.
