Chapter THREE: SURVIVING!!

Chapter 3: SURVIVING!!

upon reaching the shorelines of Atlanta Lee and Klause search for a boat to take them to navine.

Lee: Thought you said you had a boat?.

Klause: I do, I did.

Lee: you did or do? Make up your mind.

Klause: I guess someone stole it.

Lee lets out a sigh and sits down in the sand. So we are only a few miles away" Lee asked. Yep, Klause replied.

Klause: I see a boat but we need to swim to it

Lee: How the hell am I going to swim with one arm?.

Klause: I don't know. Just wait here then and I'll go for it.

Lee: Ok, sounds like a plan to me.

Klause dives off into the ocean and starts to swim towards the boat. All of a sudden couple of walkers attacks lee, Lee takes out a blade and dodge one of the Walker then chop him in his head. Another Walker attacks lee from behind, Lee swings his hand around and chop off the walkers head. Lee dives into the ocean and starts to swim towards Klause but the walkers keep pursuing him.

KLAUSE!! KLAUSE!!! Lee shouts. Klaus turns around and sees that lee was under attack by Walkers. Klause started to swim even faster than before, he finally reaches the boat and tries to turn it on.

A walker grabs onto lee foot and pulls him down under the water, Lee fights back' he stabs the Walker three times in his head the walker finally let go of lee's foot. Lee swims back up to the surface and takes in a deep breath of fresh air. Klaus finally gets the boat to start, he pulls lee upon the boat and started to laugh.

Lee: Why are you laughing? I almost died back there.

Klause: But you didn't, did you? Plus I had a feeling you'd be ok.

Lee: It's just luck and good right swings. So where are we heading now?

Klaus: Navine.

Lee: Navine it is then.

The two looked at each other and smile.

.MEANWHILE SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Christa: Clementine!! Clementine!!

Clementine: Yes, are you looking for me?

Christa: Yes…where is Omid?

Omid: I'm right here darling.

Christa: You two shouldn't be wandering too far away from me.

Clementine: Ok, I understand.

Omid: I was just teaching her how to catch a fish.

Christa: And why would you be teaching her that?

Omid: Have you forgotten? Lee asked us to look out for her and take care of her. What if something were to happen to both of us.

Christa: Nothing will happen to us.

Omid: You can't say that and you know it, I'm gonna teach Clementine everything that I know about survival.

Christa: Ok…fine.

Clementine: Thanks Omid…and Christa is right nothing bad will happen to us.

Omid lets out a sigh and walks off. Where are you going, Christa asked?. To get firewood it's getting dark and we need a fire Omid answered.

Clementine opens up her backpack and takes out a picture of lee. Why did you out of all people had to get bitten, Clementine asked herself. Tears begin to run down her cheeks as she cries for lee, I miss you she mumbles. At the same time, Omid returns with some firewood and saw clementine sobbing.

Omid: You know it's ok to be sad clem. I get it lee protected you like how a father would protect his daughter.

Clementine: Lee once said that if he ever had kids he would like to have a daughter like me.

Omid: I think he got that wish, after all, cause to lee you were like a daughter to him and he loved you until the end.

Clementine: Don't say that, if I were like a daughter to him why did I do something like leave. If I didn't leave from his side he would have been alive and well.

Omid looks down to hide his tears from clementine.

Omid: I had only known lee for a short while but it felt like a lifetime. So cheer up, after all, you're his sweet pea.
