Chapter NINE: CLEMENTINE

Chapter 9: CLEMENTINE.

A few months have passed since Omid died and Christa lost her baby while giving birth, it was painful way too painful for anyone to handle.

Clementine and Christa caught a raccoon for dinner but it was raining and the fire kept going out, Christa got frustrated and started to complain.

Clementine: When will it be ready to eat.

Christa: I don't know okay....the fire keeps going out.

Clementine: I'm really hungry.

Christa: Me too but what can I do, if you wanna eat cook it yourself I'm done trying.

Clementine: I miss Lee.

Christa: Then go be with him.

Clementine: Christa do you hate me.

Christa: I'm going to look for more firewood just stay here.

Christa went into the forest for more firewood. Clementine walks over towards a log and takes up her bag, she opens it and takes out a picture of lee and a lighter' she closes her bag and put it down. She slowly walks over towards the fire and tries to light it, she was a piece of firewood and used it' the fire started to blaze when suddenly she hears Christa and some guys talking. Clementine slowly approaches Christa and hides behind a tree Christa turns her head and sees that clementine is hiding behind a tree.

Christa holds her hands up while four guys point weapons at her.

Unknown man: Who else is here with you.

Christa: It's just me alone.

Unknown man: Stop with the bullshit.

Christa: I'm telling you the truth.

One of the guys turns around and saw clementine. Run clementine Christa shouts out. Clementine runs off and one of the men chases after her.

***MEANWHILE***

Lee: How do you feel Klaus.

Klaus: I feel good.

Lee: Good....thanks to you we had this submarine to escape in.

Klaus: Sure...So where are we going, lee?.

Lee: Washington.

Klaus: Like the white house?.

Lee: Yes....when I was teaching I went there once.

Klaus: So you want to be the president?

Lee: N.....No.

Klaus: President Lee, that would make me vice president.

Lee: Sure anything.

Klaus: Not to bother you but who is clementine, you kinda mention her in your sleep a lot.

Lee: She's someone...let's not talk about her.

Klaus: that's okay with me.

Alice walks over towards the two and asked' what are you two talking about?.

Klaus: we were talking about how I'm not a walker.

Alice: Lee blood can probably save people...the thing is lee blood type changed to something that doesn't exist.

Lee: What? And you're telling me this now.

Alice: I'm calling it the ghost DNA or ghost genes.

Klaus: You truly are a genius sister.

Lee: Okay...let's discuss this later.

***BACK TO CLEMENTINE***

After escaping from those men clementine wakes up at the side of a riverbank. Clementine gets up and headed into the woods, dripping wet and scared clementine hold her composure and kept walking.

Clementine hears a dog barking and went over towards him' the dog leads clementine to an old campsite.

Clementine: Looks like everyone is dead... I'm really hungry, I should look for something to eat.

Clementine started to search for something to eat but she couldn't find anything. Clementine saw a walker tied up on a tree and killed it with a knife she had found on the campsite. After killing the walker clementine saw a garbage bin and searched it to see if anything was in it, she found a can of baked beans

She sits on a log and opens it up.

Clementine: Thank God.

Clementine starts to eat while the dog stares at her, she offers him some and the dog attacked her. The dog bite her in the arm, she kicks him off and the dog lets out a sound like he was in pain' clementine gets up and look at the dog. The dog was impaled, clementine leans in and stab the dog in the neck.

Clementine walks into the woods but the pain was too strong for her she passed out. A minute passed and she opens up her eyes only to see walkers approaching her, she forced herself to get up and kept walking but the walkers keep pursuing her. A walker grabs her and tries to bite her' clementine tries to fight off the walker but she wasn't strong enough then suddenly someone shot the walker and pick her up and ran out of the woods.

Unknown man: Aye, are you okay?. I'm Luke.

Clementine: I'm clementine.

Luke: Okay clementine you'll be safe now.

Clementine: Thank you.

Clementine passed out from the pain.
