Venessa's P.O.V

After getting introduced to Vincent's parents, Vincent escorted them to the guestroom to get some rest as they might be tired. While I waited patiently at the bottom of the stairs waiting for him as I wanted to ask him a few questions.

Spotting me at the bottom of the stairs, he came down and stood in front of me. "Would you be going to work now?" I asked him, which he hummed in response. "Ohh, okay" I answered realising probably he's getting late already and I do not plan to waste his time further.

"Do you wanna talk?" He asked, taking my hand in his, making the butterflies in my stomach fly wildly. "Yeah but it's okay, I'll probably just wait for you tonight and we'll talk" I replied to him.

"No!, tell me now, I got time baby girl." He exclaimed, pulling me closer.

I pushed his chest away gently as I could feel myself heating up due to the closeness. A frown took over his face as he looked at me trying to figure out what's going on inside my head.
