Reinforcements

Boom!Boom!Boom!

Fireworks like explosions rang out across city-C continuously as alien spaceships were blowing up like toys as a dark blue abomination kept jumping across the skies wrecking them with its constantly changing hands, breaking various parts while a strange ability was causing other parts to dissolve even faster.

The aliens were becoming even more and more restless with their minds falling into despair because the creature seemed unbeatable, beams fired had no effect, tentacles that outstretched from the ship immediately dissolved every time it tried to restrain its movements, their numbers rapidly decreasing as the continuing massacre.

They had sent urgent messages for reinforcement, but those that came could only call for more reinforcements, like moths to flames, they just kept coming from all directions because of one creature, but of course, he wasn't alone.

Just as the invaders knew they had to kill Zephyr for the invasion to succeed, the humans also knew that he was the cause of victory so far was mostly because of him, they couldn't let him die no matter what, so they sent reliable hunters to assist him.

The fact that the enemies were becoming concentrated in a single city was an opportunity they couldn't miss, as it drastically reduced the rate of casualties and collateral damage while it also gave hunters the edge they desperately needed to push back the swarming aliens.

Though it had reduced the number of spaceships around nearby continents as they moved to City-c to subdue the anomaly, the rest of the world was still getting swarmed, with some cities destroyed as the aliens and hunters face-off all around the globe.

The military government also dispatched prototype war jets to increase fighting chances and those were made with items brought from high level-gates to confront the enemy and contribute however small.

city-C had become a battlefield with two sides clashing against each other with utmost hostility, plasma beams, swords, and skills colliding, and the number of bodies increasing by the minute.

--------

Within a mothership layered pitch-black floating in the endless sea of space, in a dark chamber a glowing capsule that held within is a brain with ten tentacles attached to it and tiny tadpoles squirmed around it, with two other aliens all clad in black, both with an octopus head larger than others of their kind with six tentacles attached to it, as converse telepathically on topics that will affect the future of two entire races.

"The soldiers have sent reports of an anomaly greatly thwarting our plans, Dha'ik is en route to confront it right now, My Lord," said the one called Ag'im

"Descend onto that planet to assist him, if that's what closed the gate then it be too much for him," said the brain

"Do not take any unnecessary risks, if you deem it to be too dangerous, we'll just use 'that',

Also, take the alpha and omega with you said the brain

"Yes, my lord, we shall not disappoint you" the two simultaneously said as turned around leaving immediately as they heed the commands of their lord as they move to exterminate an obstacle to their plans.

--------------

Above a city, no rather a battlefield lighting up like a disco ball as spells and beams of plasma fly around with hunters and aliens clashing like never before, spaceships are been blown apart as hunters with aerial movements and attacks support a dark blue creature as it smashes and dissolves the parts of the ship.

~Zephyr's POV~

Man, these things are seriously annoying, the spaceships just keep coming, which is definitely not a good thing for me, as soon I began pummeling spaceships more and more kept arriving.

Though the tentacles of their ships couldn't do me any harm, their plasma beams hurt, but I couldn't let them know that, so acted as if I wasn't fazed, it's been around 3 hours that I began smashing ships, with their numbers gradually increasing along with my mental fatigue.

The government seemed to appreciate me as they sent hunters to assist, for which I am most grateful.

As I keep jumping and smashing, my body suddenly screamed for me to move away as it sensed danger, I didn't know from where but this feeling wasn't something to ignore, I jumped off the spaceship I was currently on to another by the side, and not a moment too soon;

BOOM!

A plasma beam more lethal than the those before was fired at my former location all the way to the ground, killing hunters and aliens alike, the spaceship I jumped from had been decimated as it completed unrecognizable.

The entire battlefield paused as looks of despair and immense anger began to etch on the faces of the hunters as they saw the aftermath of the beam, while the aliens were communicating with each other telepathically about the current situation.

Dha'ik had arrived.

---------------

I look in the direction it came from as I see another type of spaceship had arrived, it was bigger than the rest but not by much and it had a plasma blaster installed on it which was currently emitting wisp's of smoke from it, I guess it could only fire the beam once and wait for a cooldown or something, that's when a voice rang out in my head

[Human, do not let them fire that weapon a second time]

Well, that was my plan in the first place, but then I asked "Why"

[Look at the ground below]

As I did, I saw a deep massive hole that penetrated the ground caused by the beam as well as decimated bodies of hunters all around it.

I looked up to the spaceship, it had to be destroyed and fast, but it seemed I wasn't the only one thinking that way.

The spaceship immediately went into a coordinated formation while still I was jumped as they faced us on all sides while keeping the larger one in the middle.

it was just as I thought, they were trying to buy time for its recharge, but I wasn't going to stand still and watched and neither were the remaining hunters, most of them already caught on to what the aliens were trying to do.

With renewed anger and vigor, we charged at them with me in the lead and hunters besides me, as we advanced and clashed with them a scene from blockbusters occurred.

BOOOM!!!

Tens of spaceships immediately blowing up before anyone attacked.

Turns out the plasma beam had caused the government to panic making them send more hunters to the scene, but I didn't know they would send an L-RANK hunter, Andrew stein with a few prototype jets to help.

He had taken all the attention causing the hunters to pause to take a look at the person who used a lightning chain skill to wipe out tens of spaceships at the forefront of the battle, though not up to where I was, as he floated in the air with a Mohawk style, light complexion and no a shining bluish-red armor and gauntlets with lightning dancing around his body, I'd say he made an awesome entrance.

With his assistance, the spaceship were going down much faster, as we kept charging through them with the hunters clearing a path for me as we moved towards the ship at the center.

I completely stopped destroying ships, I was jumping from one to another while the attacking ships were being taken care of by the hunters.

I made it to the ship in no time, thanks to the hunters. I immediately went to destroy the contraption that fired the beam, an alien was waiting for me with a plasma gun in his hands as he began firing.

Spaceships were all targeting me, so the hunters were keeping them busy but not for long, some of them had already died, with the prototypes being destroyed, I couldn't let this fight drag out and the hunters were occupied, so I did something else.

I turned into the white-gorrila though not white but still a gorrila, and began to jump and stomp the spaceship, making it dent in various places while dodging numerous plasma beams that were headed my way.

I kept doing so until, I hit some contraptions causing the ship to take a dive.

So what do you guys think, is this story going too fast?
