The Villainous Side Character Works Hard Today

Elynora had transmigrated into a fluffy regressor fairy tale that she wrote, as a person who always wanted to escape the world, she couldn't be more happy. There was an annoying system that told her weird stuff, but it was still a life much better than the one she lived. As she had transmigrated into a supporting character, she understood her task perfectly. "I must be a stepping stone for the male lead and the female lead to get together!" System: No, you must make this novel into a happy ending cute love story. Hm? But wasn't this already a cute love story? But the world she saw wasn't that of a cute love story, but more like an angst with no happy ending in sight! The male protagonist kept treating the supporting female characters too well! The female lead gets too jealous and gives up. The villain character keeps trying to kidnap the female lead to make her into a weapon. The female supporting characters keep trying to seduce the male lead. ... Ah, the author, who regretted writing the story, wants to leave this world. [P.S: The cover is ai made and is a temporary place holder. I'll draw a better one laters.]

3| When in Doubt, Bullshit Through.

The medicine brewed with rare ingredients that exhausted even the female lead's powers was very effective.

When Nora opened her eyes, most of the pain was gone. She eased her arms and legs. There was only a slight stiffness from not moving for many days and none of the nerve wrecking pain from before.

She felt an icy gaze on the back of her head and so she turned around. It turned out to be the glaring pair of blue eyes of the female lead and now her cousin sister, Arabella. Imagine having to treat the home wrecker for days, spending all your energy. Yeah, even a saint would be angry too.

Arabella didn't say a word even though she knew that she was awake and well, and only silently stretched out her hand and took her pulse.

"Thank you." Nora conveyed her heartfelt thanks to Arabella, if she was in her position, she would've just left her to die, so she felt even more thankful.

"You don't need to act." Arabella said, frostily.

Yeah, if she mistreated her all this time and suddenly said she wanted to become best friends, no one would believe her, so she decided to rely on her silver tongue.

"Sister, I will be honest with you. Calor is more than a brother to me."

Arabella's eyes shook when she heard this, but Nora calmly continued.

"He's like my son," Nora finished the sentence. It was the truth after all, she was the author. Arabella's face fell into confusion.

"What?" Arabella asked, confused.

"I meant that. I raised Calor and love him like I would love my child. So when he was engaged to you, I felt like a possessive mother and wanted to test if you were good enough for Calor. But seeing you selflessly save me from the brink of death has proved to me that you are too good for that blockhead. Sister, you have my approval."

Elynora nodded and continued bullshitting. Arabella blinked rapidly, not knowing what to say. She wanted to refute Nora's words, but it also made sense on why she acted that way so she couldn't.

Arabella couldn't find anything to say. In the end, she chose to escape.

"You are all healed now. You need to drink the health recovery potions I made for you daily for at least two weeks before you are fully recovered. I will get going now," She ignored her words completely and fled the room, confusion evident on her face along with a flustered look.

Nora grinned at having flustered the iron hearted heroine. This world had humans who were 'Awakened' and had special powers to fight demons. Arabella could manipulate plants and was a talented herbalist and alchemist who made excellent potions. Her potions made with rare plants that she grew herself, were more effective than high ranked healers.

To get health recovery potions for free from the master alchemist herself… yeah, she must cherish them deeply.

She was currently wearing a nightgown with no pockets.

'Hey system, is there some inventory or something like that for me?' She asked in her mind.

[No. High level spatial magic exists in this world. Your body has not yet reached that level. We recommend that you work hard to get stronger, although it seems a bit impossible considering your intelligence.]

This damned system… Was it telling her that she was dumb? Nora graduated high school as third in her city! She studied and worked hard to write, even though her parents were rich.

So what if her scores in college first year were a little bad? Nora would have done better if she hadn't died. She was only nineteen and had her youth.

As she was internally cursing in her mind, a blue panel popped up again.

[Alert! The Side Quest progress is deteriorating. Side Quest Progress: -7%]

She sighed. Nora knew why that was happening. In the original work she had written, a few days after the death of the childhood friend, the male lead encountered a person he had journeyed with for a while in the first round.

It was none other than the Demon King himself.

He didn't find out until the end of the second round that the person he had found on the Duke's estate that day was the Demon King.

Nora rubbed her forehead, ah how could she have made such a scary and overpowered character with her own hands?

What made the Demon King, Calix Azarith so scary was his ability to disguise himself. If she yelled that this guy was the demon king, she would be the one who would be persecuted, not the damned demon king.

Nora wrote that the demon king was saved by someone other than the male lead Calor in the first round. It seemed she would have to play that role this time.

Only, she wasn't going to save him; she was going to give her all in wounding him grievously.

Nora knew that even while wounded, the Demon King was still an overpowered character at this time in the novel, so if she gave him a serious wound and chased him away from the protagonist party, she would make some progress in her side quest, right?

And hence, Nora happily dressed herself up in demon hunter clothes that were in her wardrobe. There was no particular reason for this, it was just the ones that looked most comfortable.

The clothes were a simple black silk shirt that seemed to have been reinforced with magic, tight black long trousers, a brown leather harness for twin daggers and a black leather jacket that completed the outfit.

There were also several pockets in her pants, which she filled with health recovery potion vials instead of the small daggers which she didn't know how to use.

If it came to fight or flight, she was definitely choosing the flight option.

And so, Nora set out to hunt the Demon King himself, trembling with fear and with the self confidence the size of a bug.
