The moment Kalliope brought down the barrier between them, Prince Revaz breathed a sigh of relief. Her action meant that she was willing to give him a chance and thus, his previous impertinence of trying to control her was momentarily being waived.
Although it wasn't an ideal situation on his end, this was still good enough. At least she didn't give him the death sentence and be damned with whatever he had to say. Now, the only thing he needed to do was to convince her.
"Just a little warning before you open your mouth this time, Your Highness." The corner of the young lady's lips rose ever so slightly. But, the tone of her voice was the exact opposite of that beautiful smile. "You better think twice because there won't be a second chance."
