After passing out, i found myself floating in a strange dark place, look up at a giant figure. "Where am i," i asked. Was i dead? Was i here to be judged? I had never intentionally harmed anyone who hadn't harmed me. No, i couldn't be dead! If those black toad guys came after her again, Could she survive? Right after finding out i wasn't completely useless, i had...

"Relax buddy," the figure spoke. Actually, i could not tell if it was actually the figure that spoke, as the voice came from all directions, but i associated the voice with the figure in front of me. "You are safe here." This is a pocket dimension of sorts. Think of it as a personal place where i have brought your soul, or should i say, our soul. You see me and i are one in the same. But you are a part of my soul that was cut off and allowed to experience the world. I was supposed to awaken much longer, But i gained strength must faster than that entity anticipated, and broke the seal.

"Who is this entity and why did he cut us off from each other?" I asked. "That i don't understand, but from his words i was able to gather that he didn't want anyone to know of our existence." The other damion said. Which, from what I've gathered about this world from your point of view, is understandable.

I agreed with this. There were many powerful factions and government agencies that would try to make me their pet if they found out about this power.

"Well, it looks like weve been able to somewhat fuse again, although a large part of us is still, sealed off. Unfortunately, we still cant simultaneously control your body. So you must do it. I will provide assistance and insight into our power until we can permanently fuse. Until then, allia is waiting for you, and it is time for you to return to your world."

Suddenly, a bright light enveloped me, and i found myself in the real world. I was greeted by loud sobbing and a tight grip around my body. "A-Allia, whats wrong?" Suddenly, the sobbing stopped.

"Damion," she asked, wiping away her tears. "Yeah?" i asked. She looked at me for a second, before hugging me tightly. "I was so worried! i thought id be all alone, i thought you were gone!" she sobbed. This was true. Even the fake friends she had were only there for her because of her talent. She had few real friends and to climb the social ladder she was forced to abandon most of them. Now that her parents were gone shed only have a few people who she could regularly be genuine with. She would also have her bond, but the creature was only a child an wouldnt obtain intelligence for some time.

And one of those few was about to pass out between her boobs.

"Allia, please, let, me, go. It was so muffled and i couldn't be heard over her continued sobbing. I thought any moment i would start suffocating, but then...

The other me then chimed in. "This is an effect of me partially fusing with you. Whatever we are supposed to be, its not quite human, or even mortal. If you havent noticed, your body has become a lot taller and more toned." This absolved my confusion but also made me curious of what exactly we were. Sure there were powerful beings in this world capable of holding their breath for hours or even days, But at some point they would have to breath. To not need to breath at all was unheard of for any normal organism. Was i some sort of new race? Was that why something decided to cut my soul into pieces so that people would disregard me as some crippled human?

Before i could finish my thoughts, Allia came to her senses and released me from her grip. And began profusely apologizing. "Its alright, im fine, really!" i said, nervously brushing off her concerns. Besides, We have bigger things to worry about. Besides, we have bigger things to worry about. When the black toad gang realizes that it sent a whole team to wipe us out and none of them returned, it might send its best after us, we have to think of something.

"Why dont you just use that strange power you used yesterday," she asked. "Speaking of which, what was that? Ive never heard of a power that can drain magic before!" she asked, excitedly. "Im not quite sure what it is, but we cant be sure that my power will be enough to stop those guys.

Mellisa stood in deep though for a second, then her eyes lit up and she said," How about we test it with a spar?
