The Guest(1)

"Let the meeting begin..." the Crown prince ordered.

This is what they all say. An eye for an eye.

And Revenge for Revenge.

***

My cheeks heated as I stood up from my seat courageously and stated without hesitation:

"The Northern States of Emperiza wants Independence."

Everyone stared at me, blankly. My father's eyes widened when he realizes that someone, apparently his spoiled daughter was actually leading this meeting.

That Bastard's icy blue eyes meet with my amber eyes. I could feel Resent and Hate from my heart. I could remember the blood I puked for this bastard.

Love? Those were all jokes. Affection? That was fake.

I could only wish to forget those scars he has given me. But this is the only way I can take advantage of this meeting. I looked away quickly from his eyes... and dug into everyone else's:

"The Trade routes controlled with the East and the West of this empire has all of the resources to gain stability. This isn't fair for the North who has no control over this and are barely getting the assets they require." I say.

It may seem like a two-year-old speaking big adult language... but I wanted to state the obvious in the meeting.

"But it won't be good for the Kingdom's sake..." the same familiar voice called me out.

I looked over to see that the Crown Prince has spoken. So that bastard finally made his move by speaking right into my face right?

I looked at him... what happened to his cold ignorant nasty eyes who would only avoid me? Hah~ why does that matter? Whether you are different or not... whether you are from the past or not... You are the same person who hurt innocent people.

I flashed him a warm poker-faced smile and said:

"Yes it seems that it could harm the Kingdom's stability..." soon my lips turn into an expressionless face as I say:

"But the subjects of this country won't be getting their necessity..."

"..."

"..."

No one said anything. They all blankly stared at me watching their unexpected guest taking lead of this heavy discussion.

The Crown Prince of that spiteful bastard folded his arms as he asked:

"What do you mean?"

Hah... isn't it the same question as yesterday? Well that's good... that means I would take my advantage on this meeting.

"Your Majesty... isn't it more obvious?" I say flashing a bitter-sweet smile. That bastard leaned closer when he heard that. He frowned when he noticed my smile.

I seemed to have been enjoying this conversation:

"The people from the North will come over to the East and West. The Northern Land will be fully deserted. And no one will be able to fill in the needs from the North."

"But we could add more trading routes to add more firmness..."

"But how? There is the Great Giant Lake of Norta on their northern side which is filled with dangerous storms. Nobody would want to trade with that place. And besides... we don't need the Northerners." I say smiling sweetly.

"Why? You just said we needed the necessities from the North." the Crown Prince said as he narrowed his eyes.

"Of course... and naturally I am setting up the main target for our discussion. Whether we need the Northern States or not. Clearly the only benefit we are getting from the Northern States is fresh-sea food."

"What are you trying to prove?" he asks me.

"I am just to trying to get to the point of which that we should declare the Northern States... Independent of Emperiza's Rule..."

Everyone stared between the two of us. Just like how it happened yesterday at the Tea Party. It wasn't just me who could feel a little tension getting between us.

Without any further ado... I sat back down.

"..."

"..."

"...doesn't that mean... a Civil War will break out?"
