Chapter 1 The beginning
"Come on Marcus you can do it said Bradley,I'm giving it all I got Marcus said."Trying to bench press isn't even that hard" Bradley said, of course, it's not hard when you got over 225 pounds of weight on you, "Marcus said sarcastically. Marcus then began to put the bar and weights back on the stand huffing from exhaustion." damn bro I'm beat, I'm gonna head home see you on the first day of school tomorrow Brad, "see yah kid" Bradley said. Marcus then went into the locker room takes off his shirt where he then began to praise his perfect chiseled abs and muscles. He then began to think back on how he got to today all the hardships of working out and he did it out of determination and change."I hope nothing bad happened tomorrow it's the first day of high school I hope it'll be fun"Marcus said.
He than gathered his belongings and left the gym,while walking Marcus than heard a loud bang and when he turned the corny he saw the same thing he always passed by when heading into the gym 86st.86st was literally a mall but all outdoors you could see every famous shopping centers and clothing stores and on the other side every famous fast food chain and the crowded streets and side walk.While walking he saw something he hates the most about people,he saw a girl around his age being harassed by two older men grabbing her and groping her.
Thats when he knew he has to do something since no one else would that's what he hated about this world they see she's looking for help and see what's happening but all they do is watch ignoring it,he than ran up to the men pushed them and said"what the **** are you doing to my girlfriend"Marcus said in a angry tone.He than turned around to the scared girl and winked at her to play along,"you guys are adults and your groping a teenager what's wrong with you",one of the men than walked towards Marcus and said"it's not our faults your girlfriend should be the one to blame just look at her and what she's wearing it obviously looks like she would want this to happen",Marcus than punched the man in the face and looked at the other man with a scary look and he than ran away,he looked down at the man he just punched and said"never say that again no one would ever want for themselves to be groped by an old fat disgusting ******* like you.
The man than ran away screaming I'm gonna call the cops on you and press charges for assault,Marcus than said with a smile"there are security cameras all around us,if you call the cops the first thing there gonna do is check those and all they'll see is you and your friend groping her".The man than just ran away,when Marcus than saw they were far away enough Marcus turned to the girl and asked if she was alright she said with a bright red face"yes,I'm alright thank you for helping me"when she looked up Marcus was gone walking away.The girl than yelled "hey wait"while she caught up to Marcus,he than turned around with a confused face thinking did she need help again.
she than asked Marcus for his number with a bright red face but Marcus said with a smile no,he than began to walk away with the girl looking dumbfounded,he than turned back around and said"i don't have a girlfriend but we just met so I'll give you my social media"she than took his social media and added him as her friend.
She than asked Marcus for his name,he said "oh yeah my bad I forgot to introduce myself,hi I'm Marcus" he said with a bright smile.The girl than introduced herself also by saying "hi I'm Gracie nice to meet you".Than she started to ask Marcus questions like how old are you,what school do you go to,how tall are you,Marcus while being asked so many questions thought"damn what else does she want to know where I live or my social security number.Marcus than started to answer her questions,"to answer your first question I'm 15,second question I'm a freshman at Jackson Mckenny high school and tomorrow's my first day,third question I'm 6ft".He than looked at the girl with her mouth dropped she thought"there's no way he's 15 and built like that he looks like he's a senior.
She than said to Marcus"are you really a 15 year old freshman",Marcus than smiled and said yes I'm a freshman though people always think I'm older",while the two are talking a phone ringing can be heard,Marcus than looked at his phone and said"crap,sorry Gracie I gotta go see you at school tomorrow".Marcus than answered his phone and said"Hi mom sorry I'm late I was at the gym",Marcus mother said"hurry home it's getting late I made some dinner so eat it fast before it gets cold".Marcus than smiled and said yes ma'am see yah soon.
While Marcus is running home he hears a squeal and a Big Bang he than thought"what the hell was that and while listening very closely he could hear a an animal of some kind crying for help.He than started to approach whatever animal was behind a big dumpster and saw that it was a small bat,what the hell is a bat doing in the city,he than noticed the bats wound and knew it was in pain he thought to himself"I need to help it but how do I help a bat it's not like helping a dog or cat it's a wild animal and could have rabies".
