400. Ride All The Way
"You want to ride all the way to the Nolands by yourself!" Malcolm yelled in horror, attracting the attention of the rest of the guards.
Mauve glared at him, "You don't have to yell it so loudly."
They were in the corner of the field, she had pulled him out of the training grounds on the basis that she needed to talk to him.
He had seemed happy to find out the King had removed the restriction and had not objected when she said she would be leaving tomorrow.
However, his reaction to finding out she wanted to ride by herself was a bit over the top and unnecessary. She had thought he would be in agreement.
"Why?" He asked with a concerned expression. That's at least a full week of riding. You just started, I doubt you would bake to keep up."
Mauve glared at him. "Would you stop underestimating me so much?"
