296. Giving Out Orders
Jael cussed under his breath as he pulled open the door. He didn't like how unhappy she looked and he didn't like the fact that she did look like she had a lot to say but kept it to herself.
It bothered him that this was her father, not that he cared what happened to the human but he couldn't help but think she might see him differently if she found out his plans.
Mill's eyes widened as he jumped out in front of them.
"Sire," they said simultaneously with a bow.
"You wanted to see us," Mill asked with a small frown. Her brows furrowed in concern.
"Yes, come with me." He said and started walking toward his study.
Mack walked ahead and held the door open for Jael. He walked into the study and sat on the nearest seat which was the couch by the wall.
"Sire," Mister Herbert said as he stopped in front of Jael. "Is there something wrong? It is quite rare for you to ask for my presence."
