[Vladimir's POV]

{Few hours ago - At Alfred Mercei's North castle}

There was no carriage waiting for him this time when he stepped out of his palace. He shook his head in annoyance.

"Artemis," he called and the butler simply appeared by his side.

"Arrange for a carriage," he ordered.

"Right away, Master," the butler replied and bowed before leaving.

A carriage arrived within minutes. The carriage was a special one, kept only for visits to the sire.

"Don't let anyone near my chamber and make sure there is no hitch during her stay. Ensure she gets whatever she asks for," he ordered his butler, who nodded grimly.

He got in and Artemis closed the door from outside. Every time he visited the sire, his butler's face remained calm but the eyes remained gloomy. This one wasn't any different.
