Chapter 26 - It Worked?

Sky's POV

A couple of long stressful days later of arguing with my mate later, it was time. It was actually time to see if this ridiculous potion and spell works on Sammy. "Are you one hundred positively certain that this will work?" I asked Myra as we were walking to the graveyard. I wanted to hold hands with her, but she still kind of hates me in a small way. I have been trying to stop her a few times when it didn't work...

"Yes. I am sure of it. I know what I'm doing, Sky." she told me, using my name in a deep tone which made my chest feel all sorts of stuff. I let out a small sigh as we arrived at Sammy's resting place. To my surprise, she wasn't buried. She was basically out in the open along with the other...vampires. But, she was in a black coffin with her name on it.

"You can look away if you want. I don't want you to have nightmares or anything." Myra decided to say. I gave her a small frown before I chose to walk away. A few minutes of waiting around later, I heard footsteps coming from behind.

I slowly turned around to see...

"It worked?" I asked Myra, who was holding hands with a wide awake Sammy. Her skin was back to it's normal shade of pale like a vampire would have, and her eyes were a lovely red. She was smiling at me too, acting as if nothing ever really happened. But it bloody well did happen...

"Yeah, it did." Myra replied, before she kissed Sammy on the cheek. "Sammy? Are you...the same?" I decided to ask Sammy. "Yep, I am. I haven't changed one bit so don't worry. Let's go back home, shall we?" she asked me before I teleported myself back home.

I laid down in our bedroom, right in the middle of the bed before I felt a gust of wind on my face, my eyes immediately locking in place with Sammy's. I moved my hands to the back of my head for comfort as I was looking at her. Say something then...

"So, did you miss me? Because I really missed you." she asked me, cutting me off from my thoughts. "Yeah, I have." I told her simply before she leaned down and pressed her lips against mine without another word spoken. The kiss brought back good memories from the blood moons, making me instantly relax against the mattress. I then moved my hands to place them on her sides, kissing her back deeply.

Then, I suddenly saw her eyes flash a extremely dark crimson red, making me gasp slightly. This made her pull away. "What's up?" she asked me.

"Your eyes flashed a different colour...but it was extremely dark. Almost black."

"I am not sure what you mean by that. I am sure it's normal because I am very...VERY hungry..."

"Hungry for me or something else?"

"You and your blood. I am a vampire demon now..."

"You are a what?! MYRA!!!"
