'Monkey D. Luffy?' Bane looked at Luffy carefully, after a while "My name is Zero, Black Zero is what they call me around here, Nice to meet you." Bane introduced himself, Zoro who was tied on the cross was surprised meanwhile Luffy looked confused, "Who is he?" Luffy asked Zoro who was shocked.

"You have never heard of him? He is Black Zero, he had 200,000 Belly on his head!" Zoro said.

"Really? Amazing!" Luffy eyes shone, "Does that mean you're strong?" Luffy asked, Bane, didn't answer but turned his head to Zoro, "Are you planning to stay here?" he asked.

"Of course not, I just need my swords" Zoro answered, "Oh yeah I'm gonna go get it now," Luffy said then started running, "Y-you Idiot the base is over there! that's the wrong way." Zoro yelled at him and sighed, Bane also felt Luffy was an Idiot.

"Eh?" Luffy stopped, he turned around and then his hands suddenly extended, "Gomu Gomu no Rocket!", Both Bane and Zoro were surprised, "W-what the hell...is he?" he said in surprise, Bane also got curious.

"So, you're Roronoa Zoro," Bane said as he looked at Zoro, just then a boy with pink hair and glasses came close to them, "please help Zoro~san escape," He asked Bane, he told why and how he wanted to be a righteous marine, and they would execute Zoro tomorrow, Bane already knew how corrupted the Marine was in this place.

"Hold it right there!" they heard a voice, Bane turned his head and saw someone who he was familiar with very much, The corrupted Marine captain Axe-Hand Morgan. Morgan was also shocked to see Black Zero on his yard, "Black Zero, well, For the crime of treason going against me, you will all be executed immediately." Morgan spoke.

Coby started crying while Zoro staring at them, Bane remained calm as he wanted to see how would this unfold, he could just escape using his Flying Thunder God Technique, Morgan kept talking for a while and Zoro provoking him until Morgan shouted "Fire!"

Bane was about to use his technique when Luffy appeared in front of them and blocked all of the bullets, the bullet stretched to his body, he then shouted: "That won't work!" while laughing.

"J-just what the hell are you?" Zoro asked in trembling voice, Luffy turned around with a smiling then said "I'm Luffy, the man who'll become the pirate king!"

"Become the pirate king!? Do you have any idea what you're saying?" Zoro said.

"The Pirate king is the pirate king, what else could it mean?" Luffy answered back, Bane was also surprised, he was no stranger to the word Pirate King as it always comes out in a mouth of people, he also quite find funny that they were talking to each other happily while guns were pointed at them, even those marines are listening attentively.

"I have no choice but to be a pirate" Zoro said with smile.

"Great! You'll be my Nakama!" Luffy said happily and started celebrating while Zoro berated him for not untying him.

Just then he heard the marines talking about the legendary Devil's fruit, Bane had also heard of it, people who have eaten this fruits are monsters and have limitless potentials, that's what he heard, just then "Hey Zero!" he heard someone called him, he looked at Luffy who called him, "Could you help us untie Zoro?" Luffy asked.

Bane nodded and grabbed the rope and pulled it, ripping it apart, "What strength!" they were surprised, Zoro got free from his restrains and took his swords from Luffy, just then the marines started attacking them with their swords on hand, "I shall give you a hand" Bane said, and raised his arm then punched the empty air.

A air pressure formed from his punch and charged at the marines who were charging at them, they were blown away from the air pressure, "Amazing!" Luffy said with stars in his eyes, the ability that Bane just used was his One For All ability, though he can't still use the full of it, he can atleast use 10% of it, the one he just showed is 1%, he developed it from trial and error, he almost broke his arms by wanting to use it fully, but thank fully his reflexes were fast and he was able to stop it in time.

Everyone stared at Bane, they remembered that Black Zero was not just some weak criminal but someone who had the strength to have a 200,000 berry in his head.

Bane was still not done and threw a needle near Morgan, then he suddenly appeared beside Morgan then punched him at the face.

Morgan was sent flying away, and rolled on the ground for a few meters, "So cool!" Luffy shouted he then stared at Bane and yelled "Hey Zero! Join my crew!"

"Huh? Why would I?" Bane said as he continued fighting the marines, Zoro was already fighting some who were in front of him.

"Luffy" Zoro called Luffy's name, Luffy turned his head and looked at Zoro, "I'm going to pursue my ambition, I'm going to become the world's greatest swordsman and if you ever try to get in my way of that goal... ill have you commit seppuku as an apology!" Zoro said.

"The Worlds greatest swordsman? that's perfect, I'd accept nothingless from the pirate's king nakama!" Luffy said,

"Now you're talking" Zoro said, then started swinging his sword around, meanwhile Bane was fighting thinking of something, 'A Pirate King and The Worlds greatest swordsman,' he thought, 'how nice to have goals, now that I think about it, what was my goal, to Survive? to meet my parents? why did they left me again? Isn't because I'm weak?' just then a fire was lit in the eyes of Bane, "If I'm weak, then I'll walk my way up to become Unrivaled!" Bane started moving around faster and also throwing needles around the place.

He will then disappear from his position then would reappear to another, it didn't take long for them to wipe the marines off, just then.

"Don't move! if you move ill shoot this kid!" they heard a voice, they turned and saw Helmeppo aiming his gun at Coby's head.
