The Beginning of Understanding

Lex jerked his arm a few times trying to get away, but Mana had an unbudging grip. 

When he realized he wasn't going to simply pull away, he went to using another tactic. He took his other arm, blade in hand, before raising it up and hastily bringing it down towards the arm that wouldn't let him go. He was hoping it would cause her to finally release the grip she had on him. 

She wasn't fazed by the attack, so much so, she didn't even try to dodge it. Instead, she simply grabbed his other arm with her free hand, stopping him before he could land a blow. She then gave him a demonic smile as he began to understand the severity of his situation. 

Mana guided his dagger into his own arm, forcing him to stab himself as well as debuff himself with his own effect. 

He let out a loud shriek of pain as he hobbled for a moment, unable to fall as Mana kept his full weight up with her singular grip.
