Chapter 45

Seconds after the howling had cease, Alpha Czar stood up and raised his glass to toast to the occasion, the future generation of the Dark Moon Pack.

May my grandson and granddaughters all have long, healthy and happy lives! Alpha Czar shouted and howled out.

Everyone else then raised their glasses and then the Alpha gulped down the contents causing everyone to do the same except Bella who slowly put down the glass.

When the Alpha sat, classical music instantly began to play and everyone began to mingle and socialize while Lizzy and the other began to leave the stage.

Excuse us for one minute Bella we will be right back. We just have to say our hello to another Alpha and his mate. Alpha Czar said as he held Jean's hand and they walked a short distance.

After a few awkward minutes of everyone staring at her intensely, Karl spoke

So Bella how have you been? He asked as he began to pour drinks in everyone's cup.

I'm doing good Karl. I'm about to take some time off for a while though. Bella answered

What you stop drinking now? Had I known you'd be coming I'd have sure gotten some Long Island Iced Tea for you! Karl said as he was about to refill Bella's glass and saw that it was still filled.

As a matter of fact I have for a while. Too much of something isn't always good, right? Bella said and laughed it off softly.

I tried to visit you several times to apologize Bella but you seemed to be not at home, even though your car was parked in  the driveway! Kyle said as he gazed at Bella intensely

Yea, I took my parents on a trip to the Caribbean the next day after I finished my case with your father! Bella answered not wanting Kyle to know she had heard his apology.

So you went on vacation and is now taking some time off again? You must be loaded Bella or I was born into the wrong species. Karl joked

Well I'm an only child to a witch and a human so maybe a little of both! Bella said and smiled

As soon as Bella had answered Karl's question, Lizzy arrived at the table to greet her along with James and her pups.

Bella I'm so happy you got to make it. By the way, I love your fashion girl! You're practically glowing! Lizzy said and hugged her tightly

Thank you Lizzy, your pups are quite adorable. Bella said

You say that now, wait till you see them after a nap! Lizzy said and laughed

Well the two that James has in his hands is Zayn and Elle and this here is Bell. She's a little heavy okay. Lizzy said as she placed Bell into Bella's hands.

Bella eyes immediately lit up and she began to smile and make funny faces at the pup and instantly the pup began to giggle.

She likes you Bella. James said as  Lizzy took Elle from James hands to lighten his load.

Kyle's eyes was glued to Bella since she arrived but the instant he saw her smile with Bell, he quickly turned away while gulping his drink. After a few minutes of hearing Bella with Bell as the pup laughed loudly, Kyle got up and walked away from the table.

Everyone at the table noticed when he walked away and in a blink of an eye Lizzy briskly walked up to meet him and confronted him about his action. From a distance everyone saw that Kyle barely had time to say a word since Lizzy's mouth kept moving constantly scolding him. Lizzy then took Elle and placed her in Kyle's hand and walked back to James and took Zayn and placed him in Charlie's and Kyle's lap.

Now seeing that the three of them are safe and our hands are free, let's go take that dance you promised me my love. Lizzy said to James and grabbed him by his hands and walked towards the dance floor before anyone could object to her actions.

Bella you should sit with Bell, I know from experience how heavy she can be in your hands. Karl said as Charlie tended to Zayn

Actually she's not that heavy. Bella answered

Bella I didn't get to tell you the last time but I had no idea about what Kyle and you had until that day outside but I want to tell you how sorry I am for not telling you earlier who we were and what we had done to you decades ago. Please forgive me, I was wrong. Charlie said as she looked at Bella

Charlie it's okay. There's nothing to forgive since I've come to the realization that all this had to happen for me to find the peace and I have now. Did you guys ever find the location? Bella said trying to change the subject

Yes we did. The uprising is getting bigger and bigger as we speak. Even our Alpha looks worried because he knows the vast numbers we're up against! Thanks to you that is. Karl answered and eyed Bella as she continued to distract Bell who kept smiling.

We could use your help with this matter Bella! Whatever it cost, we'll arrange it! Karl continued trying to get Bella on their side knowing the dangerous weapon she can become in a blink of an eye.

I'd love to help Karl but I'm about to move away and start a family. I can't concern myself with this incase it jeopardizes their lives. Bella said

Wow, you sure do move quickly for someone who seemed heart broken a month ago. Kyle said overhearing Bella's conversation with Karl

And here we go! Charlie didn't I tell you and Lizzy this would happen! Karl loudly confessed to Charlie

Shut up Karl, I was simply stating an observation! Kyle said bitterly.

Well Kyle, you know me, being the whore that I am, doing restaurant fucks and all, we can usually be able to pick ourselves back up easily! Bella said and gave Kyle an iron gaze that could have made the devil uncomfortable.

Guys, let's not say things to aggravate each other. Tonight is all about Lizzy and her pups. Karl said hastily trying to placate the escalating situation.

Yes I agree Karl. Charlie chimed in

Bella, Karl and I are having our matrimonial ceremony next month and we would appreciate it if you'll come please. Won't we Karl? Charlie said as Bella both looked at them.

Thankfully, before Bella had time to answer the question she saw Czar and Jean approach her.

Bella I see you've gotten your hands full with Bell for quite a while, sit down with me a bit. I need to get your expertise while my family leaves the table and gives us some time to talk. Alpha Czar said as he walked back to the table with Jean.

Within seconds of saying those words, Bella saw the entire family walk away. Even Jean took Bell from Bella and walked away.

You have a ways with words Alpha Czar. You need to teach me how to do that! Bella said and smiled

Alpha Czar laughed loudly and then he and Bella began speaking about all the information he had learnt about the uprising. He also informed her about the allies that he had fostered already and is in the process of doing but most importantly he asked her for her help should it involve protecting only his family.

Please Bella I don't mind dying but I know that everyone in my lineages will be slaughtered including Lizzy's pups. I wouldn't put you in this spot any other time and you know this. But I fear my reign will come to an end soon and I have to think about my family! Alpha Czar pleaded as he held Bella's hand.

Have you tried informing the Vampire counsel to seek help from them? You don't have to do battle with only the werewolves! Arrange a meeting with the counsel and take your information along with pictures and show them that their own kind is involved! I've dealt with the counsel several years aback, when I returned many wanted rogue vampires and I can tell you they do not stand for disobedience of their own kind towards them nor other species. Bella advised

Bella you're a genius and a great advisor at that! Thank you very much and please think about what I asked you. Czar said excitedly

Alpha Czar you have shown me only respect from the day I met you! You knew I was a half witch and you kept it to yourself and didn't even let your family know. Call me and let me know the minute you need me and I will be here. Bella said and patted his hands

I'm sorry to leave you but I must act on this information that you have just shed light on at once and get in contact with the Vampire counsel Bella! Czar said and got up and walked away.

Bella then got up and began looking for Lizzy on the dance floor,

You looking for me I gather? Lizzy said from behind Bella holding two plates with cake and proceeded to hand Bella one.

I was looking for you to tell you that I was about to leave. Bella said

Sit and have this cake with me and then you can leave if you like! Lizzy said smiling and sat down and began eating.

Since it seems I have no choice, then I guess a piece of cake won't hurt! Bella said and laughed at Lizzy's boldness.

Bella I guess you've realized that I'm not like most Alpha's daughters that are naïve and spoiled. Truth is I love my family wholeheartedly but I have always called them all out on their bullshit when I see it. Even father! Like I'm sure he was asking you to protect his family if we're attacked and he dies! Lizzy said causing Bella to immediately raised her eyebrows

See! What my brother did to you Bella was underneath and disgusting and believe me when I tell you I gave him a piece of my mind when I heard about all the things he had done. I honestly did Bella! But you need to know that Kyle has a weird way of letting people know how much he likes them. Maybe he fell on his head as a pup but I've yet to figure I out! Either way judging from what he said to me about you and the way he's been moping around Bella, I think he honestly loves you. Lizzy said causing Bella to laugh out loudly with what she said about Kyle dropping on his head.

All I do know Bella is that you belong to this family. I felt it decades ago and even now. And even if Kyle may not know it as yet, he will soon come to realize that he allowed the best thing in his life to walk out the door. But you Bella will always be welcomed here whether or not you are with Kyle. Lizzy said as she finished her cake.

You should come to Karl and Charlie's ceremony! I'm sure father will be elated to hear that. He's quite fond of you by the way.Lizzy continued

I'll think about it Lizzy as Charlie and Karl had just personally invited me. Anyways I must be going as I have a long drive home. Bella said and got up.

Lizzy got up after and hugged her tightly.

Thank you for coming Bella as I know it could not have been easy! You are truly a special woman! Lizzy said and slowly let her go.

How could I ever miss this and disappoint you, Lizzy? I would do no such thing! Anyway the chew bones are everlasting for the pups, a small gesture from being a witch, so don't be shocked it you see it happen okay. Bella said and smiled

Thank you so much Bella for your exceptional gift that I believe will come in rather handy in a few weeks. Lizzy said as Bella slowly walked away.

Bella met Karl, James and Charlie talking outside the hall area on her way to her car.

Bella you're leaving already! Karl enquired

Yes I think I should go before Kyle and I have another heated session! Bella said as she looked around for him.

It was nice having you here Bella! Thank you for coming. James said as he shook her hand

Bella I don't know why Karl behaves in the manner he does when he's around you but you should know that he likes you a lot. He just has a odd way of showing it. I just felt that you should know that. Charlie said and hugged her.

Please try to see if you can make it at our ceremony Bella. In all honesty, with your powers, I'll feel so much safer with what could happen at any time! Kyle joked and shook her hand.

Bella walked away towards her car with a heavy heart just knowing what Karl had just confessed about his fears and thinking about what the Alpha said to her earlier.
