Chapter 1- Truly a great game.

"So you're telling me I have been given 3 wishes and a chance to reincarnate into one of my favorite fictional universes?" Asked a young man.

"Yes." Replied the old man seated in front of him.

"Ok, I guess.

1. I wish for a dimension where I am able to control everything, can bring people who have been marked by me into and out of it, as well as supply me with infinite energy(any kind(s) of energy) and can bring me and anyone I allow inside to other custom Universes, either they be non-fiction or fictional.

2. I wish for the power of creation, similar to the Arc of Embodiment, with no limits to what I can make.

3. Lastly, I wish for Sung Jinwoo's, from Solo Leveling, powers without any of the restrictions. Also, if possible I want the ability to consume or absorb the souls, or shadows, of those I do extract from, giving me part of their strength.", Said the young man.

After a bit of a pause, the old man started speaking.

"Okay, but I will have to limit your ability to create things. By that I mean, you can't create souls. So for example, say you created a human body, you wouldn't be able to create a soul to go into the vessel. But I will allow you to extract souls from the deceased and use them to mold a soul. So say you killed someone, you can extract their shadow or their soul. One or the other. You'll understand more when you actually get into it. Also what do you mean custom? And if that's it for your wishes, where would you like to go?"

"I would like to go into the world of a novel. To be more specific I want to be reincarnated into the world of, Reincarnation of The Strongest Sword God. And by that I mean in the game God's Domain. I want to be able to leave it and be transported out into the real world as well. So basically I want to traverse between the game world and the real world. Custom in the way that I can choose the when, how, and where. Am I making sense?", The young man asked.

"Yes, it's just that I find it strange. So basically you want to have a real body in the real world, but that same body will be transported into the game, where it is also real? So this will technically be a custom universe?" He asked.

"Yeah, so like I have two worlds for the price of one. Of course that's if it is possible." The young man replied.

"Sure, but as a requirement, I'll say this, if you die in the game you die in real life. But hopefully your smart and do something essential when you get there. Also, you will be given the choice to change between NPC and player whenever you want. Now, I'll have you teleported into the game first, you'll have a background and everything once you 'log out' so don't worry. You'll be in it the moment the server opens, also you'll be treated as a player/npc. Meaning you can do anything a player does and everything an NPC can do when you change. Whatever that may be. Now, good luck.", The old man said as he waved his hand and a spatial crack appeared underneath the young mans feet.

"Thank-", as the young man tried speaking his sight went black and he awoke to a strange bright light. Once it dimmed down he could see a female angel appear in front of him.

"Hello Adventurer, welcome to God's Domain. I am the Navigation angel, Gabriel. Due to you having a unique job class, you will only need to choose your birthplace. Please choose a country.", She said.

After looking through the list, the young man chose a familiar country.

"Star-Moon Kingdom has been selected. Now please choose a city.", She said again.

And once again a list popped up, and after browsing for a few seconds the young man clicked on White River City.

"City has been selected, player will now be teleported into Red Leaf Town. Happy adventures.", She said before a flash of bright white filled area.

'Weird. I thought I would get to choose my name. I guess because I'm a npc or something. It doesn't matter anyway. I now have the ability to look at my attribute panel.' He thought to himself.

(Quick intermission- These skills apply to him now, and outside the game, but are hidden when anyone tries to use an identification skill, they're more like hidden skills that he knows by memory. Little bit confusing but just comment any questions and I'll try to clarify to the best of my ability.

All Skills Max-

* Mutilate: A skill that allows him to aim his daggers at his opponent's vital spots, basically highlighting weak points. Will cause bleed and do DoT (A/N: This is an altered skill, I think that Enzo attacking Vitals would cause some sort of side effect, and what better than bleed.)

* Dagger Rush: A skill that allows him to throw in his daggers at his opponent, he can use all the daggers he has remotely.

* Stealth: A skill that allows him to remain hidden within his surroundings, hiding his presence and MP, essentially going invisible.

* Bloodlust: A skill that intimidates his opponents using strong energy for one minute, which induces a state of fear, reducing their stats by 50%.

* Quicksilver: A skill that increases his speed by 30% using 1 MP each minute.

* Kandiaru's Blessing: Passive skill, which will always keep him strong and healthy. Even if he loses a limb, it'll recover after a period of time through Will to Recover. And Longevity, which makes him immune to all debuffs, diseases, poisons, and other abnormalities, as well as giving him natural regenerative abilities all being enhanced, while asleep.

* Shadow/Soul Extraction: Extract the shadows and souls of enemies defeated as long as life doesn't exist within them. Essentially creating Shadow or Soul Soldiers.

* Shadow/Soul Save: Store Shadows or Souls that have been turned into soldiers inside of his shadow(or of others) and recall them when needed.

* Shadow Preservation: He is able to preserve his shadows in his Shadow and monitor them by perceiving their senses.

* Shadow/Soul Exchange: Switch places with whatever Shadow or Soul summoned and sent to another location without distance limit.

* Domain of the Monarch: An area-effect power, which increases the powers of Shadow/Soul Soldiers, basically increasing their rank by 1. Costs 25 MP/second. In the case of the game, their Tier will go up, so say he kills a tier 0, using the skill makes them tier 1, and so on.

* Armor Creation: By concentrating his powers around himself, he can generate jet-black armor onto his body. Indestructible in real life, mainly because it's invisible *mana*, in game as well unless a powerful attack happens, but it can be repaired with MP.

*Dragon's Fear: He is able to release a mana-infused shout from his soul that drives anyone weaker than him into a state of intense despair and panic.

* Ruler's Authority: A power common among Monarchs and Rulers, granting power akin to psychokinesis, letting him control physical items without actual contact

*Absorb Shadows/Souls: A power which allows him to consume either a shadow or soul, gaining certain, attributes and skills.- (Will only have these here once))

'It seems everything is the same as if I were a player, I mean I am. Although, I guess since I asked for infinite energies I now have unlimited MP. Also, i seem to have hidden or locked stats, weird. Anyways, I guess I should make some items since I don't necessarily want to die. But I think I'll tone it down as to not get bored to quick. Lets see…' Enzo said to himself as he tried picturing the Fountain of Youth in his hand.

And just like that, the Fountain of Youth cup was resting in his grasp with red liquid inside.

'It fucking worked!' He yelled internally. His face expressing a series of joyous expressions.

Without waiting another second, he placed the cup to his lips and…

"Gulp."

He swallowed it in one go. And as he did he felt an overwhelming pressure and serenity overcome him.

Just when he thought he was about to pass out he suddenly felt a wave of gentleness wash over him, ridding him of any and all pain he felt a second ago. Feeling invigorated.

'Now let's check those stats again.'

'As expected, I'll have to drink anther one for safety reasons when I leave this world. Many dangerous people out there in the real world. Now, lets go get that quest.' Enzo thought to himself as he made his way towards a special little alley.

After roaming around trying numerous alleyways he finally found the right one. This one was filled with beggars, one particular beggar was sitting in the corner, looking at his fellow beggars. After scaring the other beggars away, Enzo made his way towards the one in the corner and asked him a question.

"Hello there sir, do you need any help?" He said to the malnourished man.

"Can you give me some food?" The beggar asked.

"I'm sorry sir, but I am unable to help you with this, although, if you had a sufficient amount of money, I'd be more than willing to help you eat." Enzo said.

"If I had the money, I wouldn't have asked you." He said.

"But there is something else you can help me with. What do you say? I'll compensate you, trust me, it'll be worth your while." He continued.

"If I may ask, what does sir want me to do?" Enzo asked the man.

"Please help me kill Red Leaf Town's Mayor, Cross." He said.

"I think I can be of help. Excuse me now sir." Enzo said before he made his way towards the Town Hall.

After arriving there he saw many players starting to appear. They were all wearing about the same tattered clothes he had on. Some however had different clothes, given that they were a different class. The same could be said about their weapons.

After looking at his attribute panel and applying the 4 free points into strength, he made his way to the nearest stall and sold all his clothes and food. In total he got 15 copper coins. Which wasn't a lot but still, it was enough for what he needed to do.

But it did leave him in his underwear, becoming a pariah among the many new comers.

Somewhere else, a man around the age of 20-25, had just appeared. He donned the clothes of a Swordsman and had one single sword at his hip. His gamer ID read Ye Feng.

And like Enzo, he too made his way to a specific alleyway, however, to his shock the quest he had thought would be available had all the sudden been taken. It was a type of unique quest, which would only he completed or failed once and would then be gone forever. He had thought for sure, he would be the first one to discover it.

'Someone must've beaten me to it.' Is what he said to himself before making his way towards town hall.

Meanwhile, over on Enzo's side, he had just stepped into the very full Town Hall. It had so many people that he had to literally squeeze himself towards the Mayor. After he got close enough he started shouting at Mayor Cross, swearing at him.

"Look at that lunatic. Doesn't he know if he aggro's npcs he'll get thrown in jail."

"He must be stupid."

"Everyone back away before you get caught in the cross fire."

These are just some of the things that were being said as the surrounding people looked at Enzo swearing at the Mayor.

This however was nothing compared to when they saw him hurl a tomato at the Mayor.

System: Cross' favorability towards you has decreased by 100 points.

And with the first tomato came even more insults.

By the third tomato Cross finally had enough.

"That's enough you unbearable insect! Come here so that I can kill you!" He screamed as started approaching Enzo.

As he was running towards him he suddenly started turning into a werewolf. And once the transformation was complete, the level 25 Warrior guards had made their move. This however was a bit late as Enzo had been hit so hard he was sent flying at least 10 meters with a -75 above his head indicating how much HP he lost.

(A/N This is after the 70% physical damage reduction )

"Fuck!" He yelled. Despite not taking any damage. The impact from the fist and his body connecting had hurt. After picking himself up he dashed towards Cross who was still making his way towards him. This however stopped as the guards were able to pin him down long enough for Enzo to reach him.

Once he was there Cross lashed out with his left paw reaching for Enzo.

But Enzo had been a tad bit faster. He managed to dodge it and counterattacked with a skill of his own. Although his skills didn't apear in the Skills page, he had all the knowledge and experience of the Shadow Monarch. So with that in mind he activated Mutilate and started slashing at Cross. Along with the Guards, the damage output was okay for a level 0. Despite being low level he was hitting cross for a minimum of -11 and when he got a crit he was able to do -23. Plus he was able to swing his dagger twice in 1 second, doing about -22 or -34 or -46 if both were crits. Along with his bleed effect, he was doing pretty good.

As the four people were fighting, Shi Feng, or Ye Feng, had started hearing a commotion as he was making his way into the Town Hall. He was planning on entering since he had some business in here. But now that he saw what was going on, he was shocked.

'So there's someone like this? Who is this person? I don't recognize his gamertag. Enzo, I'll be keeping an eye on you.' He said to himself as he made his way out. Although he wanted to watch, it was too risky, plus the guy fighting Cross was a monster compared to anyone he had ever heard of. The fact that he was able to dish out that much damage despite the level difference was insane.

'So close.' Enzo thought as he watched the health bar decrease little by little.

5%…3%…1%…

By the time the health bar was in the hundreds all of the people inside the Town Hall started making their way towards him in order to get the last hit. But before they could do anything Enzo activated a skill called, Backstab, which was able to deplete the entirety of Cross' health, after he was hit by a guard.

Although he would gain nothing due to NPCs within a city not giving any loot or EXP, seeing how much DPS he was dealing out was worth it. After having killed the NPC he picked up the Mayor's Insignia and activated another skill that belonged to the Shadow Monarch, Stealth.

"It seems I am OP either way. Hahaha. Wow, the adrenaline is still coursing through me. Wooo! Ah, okay lets calm down. Let's turn in the quest. Don't worry Cross, I'll be back for you.", Enzo said.

After leaving the Town Hall, he made his way towards the alley and took out the insignia and gave it to the old man.

"Here sir, this is the Mayor's Insignia.", Enzo said as he handed the little symbol to the beggar.

"Oh thank you! Thank you kind, sir! Here, I hope this will benefit you. Thank you!", The beggar said as he bowed 3 times before standing up and handing a treasure chest over to Enzo.

System: Unique Quest "Sherlock's Request" completed. Rewarding 2000 EXP, 20 Free Mastery Points, 1 [Luxurious Ornament Box].

With the completion of the quest, a golden glow around Enzo started to form as he had leveled up from 0 to 1.

'Now that I have turned in the quest. Let's go see about raising the dead.', Enzo thought to himself as he left the alleyway before he made his way back to the Town Hall.

After getting there, he saw many people still loitering around, waiting to pick up a quest. Despite this, he activated Stealth and went towards Cross' death place. Although the body had disappeared, he was able to see the 'shadow' of Cross. So without waiting any one second more, Enzo said the infamous word…

'Arise.'

And with that, the very first Shadow under Enzo's war banner had appeared. Cross was still in his Werewolf form so he looked pretty menacing. Surprisingly he was 'invisible' to the other players, as no one said anything if they had indeed seen him.

'Amazing! Now let's go level up.', Enzo said as he recalled the Cross into his shadow.

"I should be far enough to open the chest.", Said Enzo as he took out the Luxurious Ornament Chest.

As he opened it, he saw a radiant glow and before him lay a ring atop a few other 'treasures'.

[Ring of Gravity] (Fine-Gold Rank)

Equipment Level: 1

Strength +3, Agility+2, Endurance +2.

Additional Skill: 'Gravity Liberation'. Greatly reduces the gravity acting upon the user. Duration 30 seconds. Cooldown 4 minutes and 60 seconds.

'Strange, the rank is much higher than expected. Maybe because I got the final hit on Cross? I don't know what the cause is but who cares, we got an even better ring. Now, onto the leveling grounds.' Enzo said as he made his way deep into the forest after equipping the ring.

"Ahwoo!"

Several howls soon reverberated throughout the entire forest as Enzo had been sneakily avoiding the dangerous animals. Faced with at least 3 wolves. He decided to call out Cross and have him fight them. He was after all an elite with a level of 15 with 2400 HP.

"Now!", Enzo yelled as he called out Cross and activated Monarch's Domain buffing his Strength by 50% and his tier to tier 1.

"Grrr!", Growled a Wolf as it pounced at Cross. Sensing the threat, Cross sidestepped and slashed out with his left claw before retreating and chanting a spell. In total, 2 seconds had barely went by and Cross had already killed a wolf which had around 400 health.

After it died Enzo sprang into action as he activated Stealth and dashed towards the wolf's Shadow.

"Arise." He said as he extracted the shadow.

"Come out!", He yelled. As he then commanded the wolf to assist Cross. With two summons, they killed the remaining two wolves faster than the first one.

"Arise.", He said as he extracted both of their shadows. He now had a total of 4 summons albeit low levels, they were still higher than the average player. Plus the level 15 Cross was pretty amazing to have at such a low level. Plus he noticed that the Monarch's Domain increased their tier as well,

"Onwards to the mountain.", Enzo said as he recalled all the summoned creatures before he made his way to the mountain.

His plan for right now was to basically cuck Shi Feng and take all of his opportunities for himself. Or at least the ones that mattered. For example, he didn't necessarily want a guild, but for the fun of it, he wouldn't mind having others to talk and play with, contemplating about making one. So Enzo's plan was to take all of Shi Feng's advantages and then have him join his Guild, or have him create one and basically manage it for Enzo. That or just be a one man guild, with some alliances here and there. Like a certain someone.

"We have arrived.", Enzo said as he activated 'Gravity Liberation'. With it activated he was able to scale up the mountain, once he neared the durations end he landed on a flat clearing and in front of him he could see 6 Rock Giants, all level 5, with 550 HP.

"Let's begin.", Enzo said as he summoned all 4 of his shadows and took out a couple of explosive berries which he had bought with the money he got from the other accessories he got from selling everything he had on him

"Boom!"

The whole ground shook as the Explosive Berry landed at the nearest Rock Giant's feet.

Despite the Rock Giant's high defense and health, they're movement speed and attack speed were relatively low even more so now that the explosive berry took action. It had a 3 x 3 AOE and it reduced movement speed by 30% along with 70% of turn rate.

"Attack!", Enzo said as he activated Monarch's Domain, along with Mutilate.

With the command and buff, the three wolves and Cross both moved towards the Rock Giant. The wolves damage were average at best, but Cross' damage was way above that. By the time Enzo got there, the Rock Giant's HP was already gone.

"Arise.", Enzo said as he became focused solely on clearing out the area. He threw one explosive cherry after the other until all the Rock Giants in the area were dead. By the time it ended Enzo now had a total of 10 shadows, 6 Rock Giants each with 550 Health, 3 Wolves with 400 health, and Cross with 2400 health. It was a pretty good team. He had also gained a lot of EXP, so he was now 75% closer to level 2.

After clearing out the field he started picking up the loot he had left sprawled around the floor. The Rock Giants would usually drop ores and some copper coins here and there. They had also dropped a common piece of equipment.

After finishing up, he looked around before heading towards another area, repeating the actions from before this time however, the battles would only last a second or two because of the overwhelming numbers, which just kept on growing.

After about an hour of killing a bunch of Rock Giants Enzo leveled up reaching 67% of level 2. He was a few kills away from level 3.

Along with that, came another group of Rock Giants. He now had a total of 18 shadows. He had a total of 14 Rock Giants, 3 Wolves, and Cross. The Rock Giants levels also varied from 5-6.

After continuous searching, he finally found the Special Elite, Shrews.

[Shrews] (Special Elite)

Level 6

"Now we're talking.", Enzo said as he looked at the sleeping Rock Giant.

"Everyone get ready to attack. Cross attack from a distance with your spells until it falls to 50% of its HP, after that you'll join in. Rock Giants you guys will go forward first, make sure to surround it and trade places with each other if one of you gets injured. Wolves, stay back and deal some damage here and there. Now, attack!", Enzo said as he himself activated Stealth and Monarch's Domain before making his way around.

As soon as he said attack, Cross had sent out a spell which dealt -20 or -30 on a crit. He could cast it every 3 seconds so that was around -400 to -600 damage every minute. Plus the 14 Rock Giants which were able to deal -28 or -56 on a crit meant that this fight would more than likely end super fast.

"How dare you disturb my sleep. You disgusting undead creatures!", Screamed Shrews as he activated a skill that could obliterate a whole party. When the skill was about to land on the Rock Giants, an explosive berry landed at Shrews feet lowering his movement speed enough to the point where the Rock Giants were able to clear out.

"Rumble!"

After failing to hit anyone, Shrews fell to his knees as a [Fatigue] state appeared above his head. Meaning his Defense and Attack would be greatly reduced.

"No!!!!!", Shrews yelled out as he felt an imminent sense of danger behind him.

And he was right to scream because as soon as he tried turning , Enzo, who had been hidden this whole time struck.

He used his skills Mutilate, Backstab, and Quicksilver which meant he dished out a 'huge' amount of damage for someone of his level. He was also now able to deal out three attacks every second and a half and given that both skills plus extra speed were extremely dangerous if not defended correctly, which for Shrews who had been slowed and was fatigued, was just a nightmare.

Damages of -23 and -46 started appearing above him. This continued for 10 seconds before Shrews was finally able to dispel Enzo's attacks. But unfortunately, his HP was now under 50% which meant Cross could attack physically and that he did. He immediately reached Shrews and sent out a slash which immediately hit Shrews draining 5% instantly.

After a total of 1 minute, Shrews was dead. Which prompted the System to say.

System: [Special Elite] Shrews killed. Level difference 4. EXP obtained increased by 400%. Obtained 940 EXP.

The scene of leveling up happened once again as Enzo had now reached 34% of Level 3. Along with the level up, he gained a piece of equipment, a skill book, and 16 copper coins.

The piece of equipment didn't matter, but the skill book was relatively good. It was the [Parry] skill book which Shi Feng had also gotten.

"Awaken.", Enzo said, trying something different as he extracted Shrews shadow, adding yet again another soldier into the mix. He now had 19 shadow soldiers. Two of which were capable of talking.

"Pretty good harvest. Now it's time to get that Hidden quest.", Enzo said to himself before he started climbing up the mountain once again.

After half an hour, he had finally reached the peak of the mountain, and like Shi Feng had said, it was hardly visible. Along the way, Enzo had killed even more Rock Giants. He now had an army of 25 Rock Giants excluding Shrews. So in total he had 30 shadow soldiers. Which in this stage of the game, 29 summoned creatures around the levels 5 to 6 and a monster level NPC who was level 15 and an elite meant that he was pretty overpowered. If he wanted to he could probably take over Red Leaf Town.

"Finally, now it's time to see what this Hidden quest holds in store for me.", He said to himself as he kept walking.

After walking for about 2 or 3 minutes a system notification popped up.

System: Player has discovered, The Lost Islands. Activated Hidden Quest "Past Glory". Temporarily disabled player's communications to the outside world. Unable to leave the map until Quest is completed.

"Here we go."
