Fight with Superior Predatory Beast

The ox lets out a howl that is so loud that it attracts the surrounding beasts, The howl disrupt the surrounding wind making them go berserk and slashing its surrounding.

The surrounding beasts glance at Zed's team as they let out their ferocious howl.

"Quick, We need to go down. But that ox is a wind beast so we need to attract it down with us" said Zed while he started running to jump down from the mountain top.

"Leave it to me," said Owin while he turns into a cloud of green smoke.

Zed and Vical run as hard as they can to try and reach the edge but the ox said otherwise.

The ox turns into a gust of wind that is faster than the running speed of Zed and Vical, The speed that the ox is showing contradicts with its huge body making Zed and Vical caught by surprise.

Predatory Beasts has started to develop their minds so they can think and talk a little like a human, The ox makes an axe made of wind and slammed it to Zed and Vical from their sides.

Caught by surprise, They take the direct hit and flew away like a broken kite.

The ox let out a howl and disrupt the surrounding wind again but Owin disrupts the wind too, making the ox annoyed, The ox glare at Owin and goes after him when suddenly.

ROAR!

The ground where Owin and the ox standing is turning red, the heat is unbearable which makes Owin fly away using his bloodline, the ox on the other hand growl as the ground explodes with fire vortex.

Zed and Vical stand up and saw a wolf with a white and red fur attacking the ox, they can only watch from the sides as the fights break out because of the fire vortex.

The fire vortex soon subsides and what's left is the bones of the ox.

There's a green beast core inside the bones that Zed's team needs but the wolf is standing right beside it.

The ox is an elementary predatory beast so the wolf that killed it should be Mesial or even Predatory beast.

Owin, Vical, and Zed are in a standstill with the wolf, The other beasts didn't dare to get near the wolf or just didn't want to fight the wolf signing as this wolf is the alpha on this mountain.

"What should we do? We can't fight it, That beast is a Superior Predatory Beasts. It is almost equivalent to a regular True rank" said Vical feeling complicated of the situation.

Zed thought briefly as he thinks, 'Can I fight it with my Madman rage skill? I probably can hold it right?' after contemplating Zed decided to try it because no matter what they need to get the wind core before the formation becomes too strong.

The blood inside Zed is rapidly getting faster, Veins popping all over Zed's body, Zed's expression turns savage.

Vical glance at Zed because he didn't get any answer from Zed but what greets him is a savage-looking Zed that has veins all over his body and his body seems bigger in Vical's eyes.

Vical is surprised by Zed's state which means that Zed is using a skill, Vical never saw a skill that is so scary that it changes the user's body so much.

The wolf looks at Zed who is emitting a dangerous aura, The wolf seems vigilant.

"Get the wind core as I stall it," said Zed to Vical.

Zed uses thunder frevor to his legs and pounced forward turning into a streak of lightning, The wolf envelops its body with fire and charge forward to collide with Zed.

BAM!

Zed and the wolf are pushed back evenly, The body of the wolf is so sturdy that Zed felt he is punching a rock.

Then close-quarter combat commences, Zed and the wolf dodges each other attacks while giving a counter, Zed with his newfound agility frevor can dodge the wolf attacks but the attacks get faster as the fights go on.

The wolf evidently is faster than Zed so it attacks scratches Zed once in a while.

After two minutes of fighting, they separate.

Scratches were seen all over Zed's body and his breathing grows heavy, The wolf doesn't break a sweat as it leisurely walks circling Zed.

'I need to take the wolf elsewhere to make time for Vical to take the wind core' Zed thought.

Then he decided something reckless, He taunts the wolf by turning into it using his doppelganger bloodline and Zed runs to the edges and jumps off the mountain.

The wolf is clearly infuriated by Zed's action of taking its appearance so it goes after Zed.

Owin and Vical take the wind core and they follow Zed down, When they get to the bottom they didn't see Zed or the wolf anywhere.

Meanwhile, Zed is still running from the wolf but the wolf is catching up to him in no time.

The wolf pounce to Zed from Zed's back trying to bite Zed's head off, Zed activates his draugar bloodline and roll to the side while he transforms back to his body.

The wolf makes a mocking look after making Zed transform back to its original body.

"Let's settle it here you damn wolf!" said Zed while he circulated his Madman Rage skill and activating his draugar bloodline making him four times stronger. A mix of red, brown, and green aura is leaking out of Zed's body signing as he already stepped into Noble Knight rank.

The wolf can feel the intense aura that Zed is giving and become wary of Zed.

Zed's speed is enhanced further by his draugar bloodline, He pounced to the wolf with a spear on his hand.

He circulated thunder frevor to boost his spear attack, The wolf breath out a fire that blocks Zed's incoming attack.

The wolf charges towards Zed with fire enveloping its body.

"Thermopylae Shield!"

Zed activated his skill to block the coming wolf, Spartans in Phalanx formation appeared with a dreadful aura.

BOOM!

The skill cracks under the pressure of the wolf, The wolf didn't stop and still push forward until Zed's skill have more cracks and destroyed.

The wolf envelops in fire slammed to Zed.

Zed can only raised his hands to shield himself but that didn't work as he expected.

CRACK!

The sound of broken bones can be heard, Zed's bones in his hand cracked because of the impact as he pushed back while maintaining his defensive stance until bumped to a nearby rock and throwing out blood from his mouth.

The wolf didn't stop, it charges to Zed and biting Zed's shoulder.

Zed grabs the wolf head and punches it directly on its eye making the wolf's eye turn blind.

Owoooo!

The wolf howl in pain after getting one of its eyes crushed.

Zed brought his spear towards the wolf and said, "Come, Let's finish this", Zed's body is bloody all over because of the wolf, He looked like he's on the edge before he passed out.

Owoooo!

The wolf glared at Zed, it seems to understand what Zed means as it howls with fire frevor gathering intensely on his body. The wolf's body blaze with blazing fire that is more intense than before, He looked at Zed with a menacing look.

Zed responded to the wolf as his eyes turn blue even brighter, a mixed colored aura comes out of his body, His body turns bulkier as the veins popped out and the blood is flowing even faster even Zed's heart can be heard.

They stare at each other trying to assess each other, the beast on the surrounding area held their breath as they watch the fight between the alpha of the mountain and a human.

Drip.

The sound of droplets of water falling sign as the end of their stare-off as they pounce at each other with all they got, Zed give in his all to this one swing with his spear as the wolf does the same.

BOOM!

The sound of the collision reverberated to the surrounding, The ground seems to tremble upon the impact of Zed's spear and the fiery wolf.

The wolf charges strongly while Zed's momentum is growing weaker, Finally, Zed was thrown back while his spear is thrown off to the sky and spinning non-stop.

The wolf smiled in satisfaction after winning the final blow, it turns to its back when suddenly.

Zed stopped on his tracks as he jumped up towards the spear, He grabbed the spinning spear, and with its momentum, he channels all his might with thunder frevor and throws the spear using his understanding of the Spear Throw of the Legendary Sniping General.

"Try charging this!"

BOOM! CRACK!

The sound of a sonic boom and thunder sound was heard after Zed throws his spear, The spear travels faster than the speed of sound that it arrives in front of the wolf in the blink of an eye. The raging spear has a spark of lightning on it as it travels as if it can even split the world.

The wolf feels something's wrong, it turns to its back and what greets him is a spear just one centimeter off from his head.

The spear pierce through the wolf's forehead pinning the beast on the ground lifeless, the wolf didn't have the time to react as he died under Zed's spear.
