A honest demon

It took a few seconds for the demon to transform completely.

Its body ballooned, rippled and scales were shed and replaced by new ones during this process. 

Aru had taken out a beef jerky from his pocket and snacked on it while the demon was transforming. 

"Are you done?" He asked when he sensed the demon's transformation was completed. 

"..."

"Umm? Do you need one?" Aru raised the beef jerky in his hand. "If you want, I can give you one." 

"Are you a fool?"

"Why do you think so?"

"Why else would you wait until I completed my transformation?"

"Can't you see? I was having my snacks. Do you think you are the only one who can eat?" Aru replied nonchalantly.

"Ha ha ha… This is the first time I have seen a human like you. I will send you away painlessly for making me laugh." The demon said with a wide grin. It was amused by Aru's words.
