Walking down the halls seemed pretty nice regardless of the hate Sion had for the smell of the disinfectant and sanitiser. He almost felt as though he was free as he reached the third floor coming from the second floor himself. The screen never left his eyes as he watched the task 'walk' go up.

Stopping Sion looked at the walk calculations, why was the number on his end so big but the task still not complete? Walking forward he watched it go up by 3 steps as 3 extra increased numbers

Hold on- taking another few steps, visible horror unfolded on his face. The system was calculating his walking distance in Foot!? But not only that, earlier he'd tried running forward and backwards but it had not counted and the voice seemed to scold him like an angry parent to a child.

'Geez thanks' thought Sion sarcastically. Another person- well what he thought was a person to tell him the things he couldn't do. Yet now that he thought about it, what was the 'Transformation' it mentioned? Suddenly he realised he was taking the voice seriously, pure white painted terror of it. No, he wasn't going to be fooled by something that would disappear once he was or his trauma.

Did he hear sarcasm from this voice? Was it mocking him!? Gritting his teeth he kept walking until the sound of an automatic door opening had Sion freeze. Turning to the sound, a woman not much older than him with black hair and hazel eyes peered back at him. 'Shit'

The woman who had been silent and walking the boy back to his room finally spoke,

"Tell me-" she started stopping just before Sion's room. Looking up this time and staring at him with something like curiosity mixed with a knowing look to her eyes. "Do you want to change the future for normal humans?"

Sion stayed silent.

What was he to say?

He'd never been asked such a question, if anything he'd thought she was about to scold him. But never this, a question he didn't think would really exist?

Seeing his inner battle nurse Jie sighed, "never mind, just forget I asked ok?" Her wrist being quick to slide the access key over the door opening it swiftly. Sion still in a treadmill of thoughts walked in yet stopped, "um Miss?-"

" Nurse Jie" she interrupted in an introduction.

"Right, Nurse Jie-" should he ask her why she'd asked such a thing? Shaking off the thoughts he simply smiled "thanks, for bringing me back to my room" for once he didn't shutter.

"You're welcome Mr Reed, I do hope you don't make a habit of this" she spoke before taking her leave.

Sitting on his bed after his automatic door closed, he stared down at his hands. That was the first time someone looked at him like he had purpose and meaning in the world. But not only that, her passionate gaze as she spoke 'do you want to change the future for normal humans?'.

'Change it? Change it how' Before he could ponder on it a bit further an alarm like sound rang through his head violently.

'Auto what?!'

Suddenly Sion's body lifted off the bed and stomped over in a purposeful march to the tap in his room. Before his head was shoved underneath the tap and his mouth stretched wide open in a very undignified way.

'Wait! Hold on!' He thought desperately as his body wasn't listening to him and in a split second his right hand reached for the button on the side of the basin and water rushed into his opened mouth. Without even taking a break the voice seeming to have taken over his body practically drowned him under a tap!

'I can't breathe!' Sion cried inside his mind, he was gonna drown at this rate.

As if hearing his distress his right hand left the button yet the voice didn't give him back control as once again after being forced to take his head out from underneath the tap. He marched once more, only this time his feet landed him in front of his bedside table. In a very quick motion once more, Sion instantly dropped to the ground almost before his left hand reached and grabbed a packet.

'Wait is that' before he could confirm the small box and contents inside his hands ripped the box apart in a rush and the popped a white tablet out of pack foil. Bringing it towards his mouth, his head suddenly swung backwards and the tablet with no water was forced down.

It stung as he felt it's harsh entry down his throat, that was a pretty big tablet too!

"H-huh-" he coughed but his words died at his throat as something so painful buzzed through his veins. As if someone had stuck needles with fluid and pushed in all at once through every inch of him, sheer pain and violent electrical currents pumped his blood overtime as his heart threatened to stop.

He dropped to his body cough and splattering up spit and mucous from his nose, his eyes watered uncontrollably. He was going to die, 'this was definitely it' he thought as for a second time he went under.
