The darkness around her caused her heart rate to spike and her fight or flight mode was instantly turned on.
She could not see but she knew she was not safe. Her skin pricked as though the eyes that watched her were like needles stabbing away.
When she exhaled, her breath echoed. Certainly, she was not safe.
Having nothing else to resort to, she began walking forwards. Her eyes saw nothing but her legs led her in whatever direction they felt.
However, Elaine instantly regretted taking that decision when suddenly, she fell. The group beneath her disappeared and she fell.
Her screams were all she could hear, along with the painful sound of the wind rushing passed her ears. The fall was long and she was convinced she would not survive it.
