"Oh! Is it what the gloom is about!" Proudly lifting up her chin, she looked at the front wall ignoring his figure and said almost as if stating a fact, "You always have liked the Lei's girl. Just admit it!"

Gritting his teeth he looked at her dead in the eye, with blazing fire and hissed "SU QIANWEI!! whoever the fu*k I like or dislike is no way your business!"

Sliding an envelop toward her, "Just make sure he sees it, and make sure they don't catch her anywhere near my house. She will get irritated soon and try to come out, and then is your chance."

After a pause he continued in a small voice "She don't like staying indoors or in compact places for long"

She rolled her eyes. Opening the envelope, she saw pictures of Lei Xinyi climbing the walls near his neighbouring. He was giving her location away.

'Tsk tsk' clicking her tongue she said almost mockingly, "You are really a vicious man, not compassionate at all! You know Yu Youhan will make sure he personally witness her bones decaying. You are leading her to a cruel death!"

Ignoring the contracting of his throat walls he hissed, "This probably look like self mockery coming from you."

Reminding the girl with phoenix eyes, how she was not-so-clean. He sighed trying to reduce the weight of his guilt, "My reasons are none of your concerns!" And she will be fine. They won't let her die. She will be safe there. He told himself.

She stood up planning to leave, "No reason can be reason enough to kill her." she sighed "To think she called you big brother! Vile spawn!" She exclaimed and getting close to the door with a suppressed smile muttered audibly, "No wonder you are not going to find a girlfriend..."

She was spying on him! He took a deep breath to calm himself and habitually pinched his nose. The act he did when he was beyond annoyed.

Yi yang only glared at her retreating figure with a stony look and told himself that he needed this woman in the game.

She is far more useful here, than serving as a fertilizer in some GOd's forsaken abandoned place because she wasn't afraid of getting her hands dirty and he has to keep his hands clean..... For now at least.

Halfway across the city, in topmost floor of a skyscraper belonging to one of the most prominent man in the city.

A man in his late fifties, who looked nothing like his age, was sitting in front of his office desk with two men standing in front of him looking everywhere but him because of the anger and frustration that was emanating off him in waves.

After what felt like eternity he asked with almost a wavering stern facade, "Why haven't you found her, yet. I said I wanted her in my office in an hour! In a damn hour!"

Lu Xinyi whereabouts are unknown since last night. Damn! She never disappeared on him!

Shivering both men decided to hand over their fates, "President Lu, she is nowhere to be found. We have looked everywhere, she l...left her apartment around 3 in the morning after co....coming back from the Lu mansion."

After gathering all his strength from his last lifetimes he continued in a small voice, "President Lu, s...she was quite depressed in the lobby footage and was obviously cr..crying and she was recorded in cameras driving insanely fast which is unlike her so, our assumptions are.... Receiving death glare he didn't dare to continue, even if he could he wouldn't. Their Young Miss was such a nice person and the President really loved her beyond his own expectation, just didn't know how to express it. Just fate was too cruel.
