Eleonore’s POV
I didn’t know when I had fallen back asleep, but I knew that I was dreaming.
There seemed to be this powerful and yet unnoticeable haze that always surrounded the edges of the world, flickering objects, sometimes some things would look just a bit out of place than usual, either way, I could always tell when I was dreaming these days, it seemed.
The world around me, as though alive, as though it had a soul of its own and eyes of its own and a will that belonged solely to itself, seemed to move the moment I came upon my realization. Something shifted and the images around me changed.
Now for a moment, I was reliving the past. Down that familiar alley, the long and dimly lit street right in front of the library where I had used to work, the twists and corners I would take to get to my home… they all appeared in front of me, making themselves known to me.
