LACROSSE LOCKER ROOMS NEXT DAY

(THIRD PERSON POV)

Scott walks into the locker rooms looking lost, deep in thought. He drops his bag and starts getting changed. He stands there in nothing but his shorts and puts his back against the locker, looking ahead lost. He's interrupted by Stiles,

"You apologise to Allison?" He asks,

"Yeah" Scott whimpers out

"So she giving you another chance or…"

"Yeah"

"Yeah, alright , so everything's good," Stiles says enthusiastically.

"No."

"No?"

"Re..remember the Hunters? Her dads one of them

"Her dad..?"

"Shot me…

"Allisons father..

"With a crossbow."

"Her father—-"

"Yes her father!" Scott yells before starting to freak out. "Oh my god, oh my god" he starts muttering.

"Hey hey hey Scott come on snap back, okay" Stiles then pats him on the face.

"Scott he didn't recognise you right?"

"No no no, i dont think so."

"Does she know about him?"

"OH yeah. I dont know. What if she does?! The whistle interrupts them signalling the start. "This is gonna kill me man

"Okay just focus on lacross okay. Come on, take thi-

"NO no, I can't, hes out there."

"What? Who's out there? What you mean?"

"I was right about Kai. Hes with Derek and hes like us."

"Kai? wait you mean he's a—"

"Yes"

"How'd you know?"

"He was.. there last night, with Derek and me. He.. he pulled out the arrow from my arm and we ran."

"Scott that doesn't really sound like proof."

"Stiles! I… watched him turn into a wolf, a real one."

"WHAT. LIKE FOUR LEGS AND SNOUT."

Scott nods his head.

"That's.. AWESOME… i mean bad, very bad." he quickly replies seeing Scotts terrified face.

"What do i do man?"

"Well,your gonna go play Lacross, and then we're gonna figure out the rest later. You need a distraction. Now come on."

"Okay"

Scott finishes getting ready and they both leave, making their way to the field.

HALE HOUSE

Kai pov

"So what the hell was that last night man"

"Hunters."

"Yeah im gonna need more than that considering they shoot people with crossbows."

"It doesn't matter, you've got control so they wont even know your a wolf unless you start showing off like that idiot."

"Dont remind me, i still kinda wanna punch him."]

"Me too kid."

"Look Derek, im not messing with an Alpha, but if these hunters are a threat to all of us then ill help you out if your in real need, as a last resort, okay. You do the same in exchange, Deal?"

"Good enough"

"Alright im going this place scares me for some reason."

I then walk out but hear Derek mutter quietly,

"Me too."

Beacon Hills Memorial

(8 Hours later)

Kai POV

"Please don't die, I need you Bro."

I said from the window looking at my brother in a coma, attacked by the Alpha, lucky to be alive. If the sheriff Deputies weren't patrolling late and scared the Alpha off then he wouldn't be here by now. Why? He never did anything, never hurt anyone so why? I'm pulled from my thoughts when i catch a familiar scent from behind me. I turn around and see Derek standing there in his leather jacket looking as brooding as always although I swear I can smell slight pity from him. I disregard that thought and ask him what's been on my mind for the past hour.

"Why did it do this? He never hurt anyone"

Derek replies," I don't know why, but it's not a coincidence, it's killing people but it isn't at random, I just don't know what links them yet."

" It'll come back for him won't it?"

"Yes."

" Can we really Kill it? If we work together?"

" I don't know, but it's the only way to get revenge for my sister and to protect your brother."

" Lets rip this bastard apart," I growl and my eyes flash yellow and Dereks glow Blue and be responds

"Gladly,"

Kai's House

1 hour later

Front door

Kai POV

I walk quickly to my door, struggling to open it gently, my anger bubbling beneath my mind, struggling as i try to keep it in control, I try to think of my anchor, my brother, but it only makes it worst, So i think of revenge, for him, and to protect him, knowing he'll be safe we kill it, the thought of him being safe calms me enough to stay in control. Primed to unleash my anger at a moments notice at it.

Im interrupted from my thoughts when i hear Derek behind me say,

" Your incredibly good with control for a new Wolf you know?"

"Vengeance is a good motivator."

"Oh i know it is. Anyway are you here on your own?

"Yes, why?"

"You got a training area to shift in."

"Yes." I reply confusingly.

"Good, ill be staying for awhile so i can train you to fight properly."

"Dude you have your own house why here?"

"Your House wont collapse on me while training."

""Yeah that makes sense i suppose." I grumble out

"I can hear you, you know,"

" I dont care right now. Spare rooms upstairs on the right.

" Good. We start training right now."

"Fine by me"

End OF Kai POV

THIRD PERSON POV

In the built in gym, grunts and roars can be heard with the occasional sound of heavy items falling. Anyone unaware of the supernatural world would assume there are two animal fighting savagely, trying to become the winner. There fight comes to an end as the larger individual throws the smaller at the wall effectively ending the confrontation.

The larger individual, Derek, grunts before wiping blood of his face, teh cause of the wound being claw marks on his cheek. He looks over himself noticing his bruised and battered appearance. He begrudgingly nods his head in approval at the improvement of his new albeit temporary pack member and can't help but be impressed at how skilfully he fights, putting most werewolves to shame, as well as envious of his strength and speed which tho falls short of an Alpha is still better than almost all betas and omegas. He remembers a conversation he has with his sister about some wolves with extra gifts and how rare they are but hearing about it and witnessing it is completely different. Hes broken out of his short flashback by the grumbling of Kai as he stumbles to his feet.

"I know we heal but you dont have to be this brutal, i really like this shirt and now its ruined," He murmurs mockingly, knowing Derek can hear him.

" A shirt for your survival, seems worth it kid." He replies back tired and slightly annoyed.

"I didn't say it wasn't worth it man."

"Then deal with it. Anyways, you fight well now and that extra strength and speed of yours is your trump card, no one expects a beta wolf to be as strong as you are so use it."

"Oh I will, dont worry. So. We hunting that thing now." Kai growls out and his eyes flash yellow, reflecting his resolve and desire for vengeance on the one responsible for putting his older brother in a coma.

"Yes, we're hunting him tomorrow night." Derek says before walking towards the door to leave but he stops just before walking out and says to Kai, "Bring clothes, your senses in wolf form are far stronger than mine, you can catch his scent better than i can." He then leaves and closes the door on his way out.

Beacon Hills Reserve.

Kai POV

Why Dereks choosing to live out here is beyond me. This house is completely ruined and creepy. Not to mention there's no wifi which is ridiculous. Wait. I smell people. I sniff the air and focus on my sense of smell. A dozen people. Who would be out here? I jog over until the house is in view and stop in my tracks at what I see. Deputies all around and Derek in the back of a police car with someone. Wait is that…! FUCK,GODAMNIT SCOTT WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM. I Yell in my head seeing stiles talking to him, knowing that if Stiles is here then Scotts here too. I focus on the conversation they seem to be having and Derek instantly looks out over to me, his eyes widen slightly before going back to a neutral pissed off expression but it doesn't escape Stiles eyes and he swivels around and sees me glaring at him and his face is overcome with fear. But before he can do anything his Father opens the door and from his body language I can tell he's not happy so I stop listening on him and focus on Derek and tap my ears. He nods in realisation before speaking softly,

" They found my sisters body and think I killed her. When the DNA test and ID is back it'll prove me innocent. Stay calm and I'll be back in a day."

I nod solemnly at his response despite being incredibly pissed at Scott and Stiles for their idiocy. So I whisper under my breath to Derek,

" I'll put them in their place, they've annoyed me enough, they need a reality check.'

He smirks at my response before he goes back to his neutral brooding face and I leave quickly before I'm noticed by anyone.
