Chapter 005 : Daily Life & Unlocking Chakra

"Hello Aizen-kun, my name is Rin Nohara. I hope we can be friends", said Rin in an enthusiastic way.

'Why is she is so excited? Is it just because she met a new person or did she heard something about me that made her behave in this way', Aizen thought.

As if she heard his inner thoughts, she whispered while leaning towards him,

"Don't worry Aizen-kun everybody in the orphanage are very good. You will become friends with them in no time"

As soon as she finished talking Aizen understood the reason for her enthusiasm. It seems that the story about him being loner was spread even among the children of the orphanage.

'Just how much of a loud mouth do this people have that they managed to spread this topic to such an extent', Aizen sweated just thinking about it.

He didn't let the thoughts to show on his face and replied with a smile,

"Thank you for your kind words Nohara-san I also hope I can be good friends with everyone"

"You don't have to call me so formally Aizen-kun, you can call me Rin", she said.

"Very well I will call you as such but you also have to omit the 'kun' from my name and call me only Aizen", he replied.

She nodded happily.

The days went peacefully in the orphanage. Aizen interacted with more or less every kid in the orphanage but Rin was the person who was mostly with him. They were basically always together well except during the time he used bathroom, at first she even tried to come to the bath with him but he resolutely refused. Their days were basically comprised of playing, eating and sleeping and occasionally him speaking about some mission stories which he heard from Tsunade. She always had her eyes sparkling whenever he talked about Tsunade's missions and she particularly admired Tsunade for being both a strong combat ninja and an excellent medical ninja.

"I will also be an excellent shinobi like Tsunade-sama when I grow up", she said with a firm tone.

"Yes I am sure you will be an excellent shinobi", Aizen replied to her resolution. He was not spouting empty words. In the original work she could transplant Obito's sharingan to Kakashi when she was 13 years old. If she had not died pre-maturely she would have become an excellent medical ninja. And now he will definitely not let her die like in the original plot. She is his first friend in this world and he will save her no matter how much it messes the plot.

Its been several months since the start of the war and Tsunade hasn't came even once to meet Aizen. Well he is not complaining about it because her medical skills are vastly needed in the battlefields. During this period she along with Jiraiya and pedo... *ahem* Orochimaru earned the title of Sannin from the Demi-god Hanzo, which boosted their prestige in the shinobi world to new heights.

Year 55

The second shinobi world war has officialy ended and the remaining shinobi dispatched to the frontlines came back to the village. When Tsunade and Orochimaru(Jiraiya didn't return because he stayed back at Amegakure to teach Yahiko, Konan and Nagato) returned and were greeted by a huge crowd and third Hokage himself at the village entrance because they were the heroes of Konoha during the second shinobi world war. Aizen was also among the crowd with the orphanage teacher and Rin. Tsunade spotted him and dashed towards him. When she arrived in front of him she hugged him while saying,

"I am sorry Aizen I couldn't visit you during the war like I promised"

Aizen sometimes mused that is it him or Tsunade is a little bit different from the original Tsunade in the anime. Come to think of it she doesn't look like someone who lost her lover in the war. Did his birth change the events somehow and Dan didn't died or is it something else. Well he will know the truth in the future.

And so his stay at the orphanage came to an end and it was time for goodbyes. While everyone came to bid me farewell the most sad person was Rin as expected. In this two years they basically stick together at all times so of course she will be the most sad. He went towards her and said,

"Don't be sad Rin. The academy will start after a few months, we will meet there"

A light flashed in her eyes and she asked, "But Aizen I am two years older than you, won't we be in different years?"

"Children from clan can join early as long as they pass the criteria for admission so I will also join during the next term along with you", Aizen assured her.

She became extremely happy and hugged him while saying, "Hehe.. yes we will be together at the academy too Aizen"

He smiled and patted her back. While everything was happening Tsunade had a smirk on her face. When we were returning to our home she said,

"Aizen you first need to unlock your chakra if you want to join the academy during the next term. After reaching home I will help you"

"Thank you nee-san but lets do that tomorrow. Today you should take rest", after a halt Aizen said, "Nee-san will it be okay if Rin also joined us tomorrow. You can also help to unlock her chakra and we can train together for the admission test of the academy"

"Okay bring her over tomorrow morning", Tsunade replied briefly.

The next day at the Senju clan training grounds Aizen stood in his training outfit along with Rin who was also wearing the same outfit. At first she was wearing casual clothes but Aizen insisted her to wear training outfit as it was quite normal to normal clothes get damaged during training and so he lent her an extra set of his training outfit. Though he is two years younger than her, they were about the same height so there was no problem with the size. After five minutes Tsunade arrived and gave them a basic description about chakra and how to stream it in the body. Then she said Aizen to sit on the ground first with his legs crossed. She placed her hand on his back and told him to concentrate on the warm sensation in his body and try to move it within his body. He did as she instructed and after some time a strong gust of wind released from his body indicating that he has successfully unlocked his chakra. Tsunade had an incredible expression on her face and Aizen knew the reason but still asked with an oblivious face,

"What happened nee-san? Did I did something wrong and failed to unlock my chakra?"

Tsunade looked at him and said, "You brat, you have successfully unlocked your chakra and also have a ridiculous amount of it for your age. You already have chakra reserves similar to Jonin"

Well he was not surprised by the chakra amount and said in his mind, 'Status'

The blue screen appeared in front of him showing his stats.

'Just circulating my chakra and unlocking it gave me 20% control and due to having sage body my body strengthened to the point of Genin even though I didn't do any training', he was surprised inwardly.

Rin was also looking towards him while having stars in her eyes though she was not much knowledgeable about ninja ranks and didn't know what Tsunade meant but she understood from her expression that it is something rare.

Tsunade didn't say much and called Rin to unlock her chakra and after the same process Rin also successfully unlocked her chakra. Then Tsunade told them about the basic applications of chakra and gave them a scroll which contained some basic exercises and told them to practice it for the time being before joining the academy. Of course Aizen won't limit myself to these exercises and use the remaining time to train rigorously.

'Its time to visit the jutsu library in my mindscape', he thought.
