Chapter 2: Surviving and Thriving in the Unknown
As Jack continued to float in his hot air balloon, he realized that the other Earthlings were scattered far and wide across this new world. It would take days, if not weeks, to travel to the nearest person.
Thankfully, the Transporter had set up a forum for them to communicate with each other. Jack spent his first few days reading through the different threads, learning as much as he could about this new world and the skills necessary for survival.
He stumbled upon a discussion about the longevity of helium in hot air balloons and how far they could travel. One expert in hot air balloons explained that the distance a balloon could cover depended on various factors, such as the amount of helium in the balloon and the weight it was carrying.
Another discussion caught Jack's eye, where an expert in survival was sharing tips on how to survive in the wilderness. Jack took note of the tips and tricks, knowing that he would need to be self-sufficient to survive in this new world.
As he read through the forum, Jack thought of a name for the sign-in system that had been implanted in his head. He decided to call it "Shorty," as it was a shorter and easier name to remember than its original super long name.
Feeling more confident with the knowledge he had gained from the forum, Jack decided to start exploring his surroundings. He packed his hot air balloon with the necessary tools and supplies and set off towards the distant horizon, eager to see what this new world had in store for him.
As the night sky grew darker, a notification popped up in Jack's mind from the System.

Jack felt a wave of relief wash over him as he realized that he wouldn't have to worry about finding food for the time being. He looked around his hot air balloon and noticed that he still had some tools that can be used given by the Transporter.
He settled in for the night, feeling grateful for the reward and the chance to rest. As he drifted off to sleep, another notification from the System appeared in his mind.

The mention of the Newbie Gift Pack intrigued Jack. He had completely forgotten about it in all the chaos of being transported to this new world. He made a mental note to open it first thing in the morning.

As he was scrolling through the forums, Jack noticed a notice from the System informing him that there was an unopened newbie gift pack waiting for him. He quickly opened it and found several useful items, such as Watered filter, solar powered flash light, a bag of chips and upgrade hot air baloon space.
Jack click the upgrade hot air baloon space and in no time the hot air baloon expand its size.
Jack felt grateful for the help from the System and the other survivors, and he realized that he would need all the resources and knowledge he could gather to survive in this new world.
He decided to take a break from the forums and explore the surrounding area using his hot air balloon. With the information he learned from BalloonMan, he felt confident that he could navigate the winds and cover more ground than he could on foot.
As he soared above the barren landscape, Jack couldn't help but feel excited about the adventures that lay ahead. He knew that this new world was full of challenges, but he was determined to survive and thrive in it.
