THE TOXIC BOND

Love can conquer Evil, but what if your love is EVIL? A promise was made two years ago between the two broken souls...a promise of working on their imperfections and sharpening them to fit in each other perfectly. THE TOXIC DEAL was what clashed their destinies together. Life threw the thorns of secrets and betrayals in their way, yet they fought together. They won together! Parting their ways was their conscious choice with a hope of a better tomorrow. Their promise kept them going and battling their demons. But not all promises are meant to be kept! Bria Maxwell and Hayden King couldn't find their happy ending in the first book- THE TOXIC DEAL. Now it is time for the reunion, but are they ready to face each other after growing into two completely different persons? Is their love still strong enough to burn bright in the fire of desire? Or the willingness to fight for each other has already faded away? Join them in their further adventure that is grander, scarier, more thrilling and... more dangerous! ***** This is the second book of the 'TOXIC' series! The cover photo belongs to its 'rightful owner', and I have only used it for my book. If you want me to take it down, then please contact me, and I will do it immediately. BRIA

About an hour later, the recently silent environment in the police station changed dramatically with the entry of a man in a grey suit. He had a white beard that was a couple of inches longer, well groomed. His white hair was styled perfectly in a short ponytail at the back of his head.

His shiny brown shoes clicked against the old, cracked tiles of the police station as he strode confidently like he owned that place, followed by two men in black suits- his bodyguards.

"Dad!!"

Bonnie ran to him and hugged him tightly. No matter how she pretended to not like her father, she couldn't deny her love for him. It was only her anger toward him because she felt neglected by him. I didn't blame her though because he prioritised his textile business over his only child.
