I stirred in sleep as my alarm blared to my left. My hand shot out, fiddling blindly until it felt the hardness of my phone. I didn't bother to open my eyes and turned the alarm off.
I should stop setting that damn thing to ruin my morning sleep!
I yawned as I turned to the right and hugged the pillow close to my chest. A mild strawberry scent hit my nostrils, and I sighed in its fragrance, sniffing more then.
'Wow! What shampoo is she wearing?', I wondered as my fingers ran through the soft hair. My brows creased in confusion.
Why is her hair so short? She should have-

Who am I referring to? A woman?
The last woman I had gotten anywhere close to feeling her body heat was about six months ago, but only to get her out of my way and that ended in blood.

My eyes snapped open wide in alarm, and I looked to my side. The relief that washed over me was momentary because it soon morphed into utter confusion.
