Alex had been left alone with the scary man and he could instantly tell that he would not be able to go the battle if the others wanted him trapped. He took in a deep breath and got ready to fight the most challenging battle of his life yet.
Swords clashed and they collided. Sparks flew as metal collided with aura and Alex had to keep his head back so that sparks did not get into his eyes and blind him.
On the other hand, Cassin did not even bulge from the position he was standing at. This calm but amused look continued to taunt Alex and asked him to do better.
“Is that truly all you have under your belt, kid? Was I truly expecting a lot from you? Alas, this is rather disappointing for me.”
Cassin yawned as waited for Alex to start his attack. Alex was trying his hardest but nothing seemed to be happening. His skills were also all passive and did not give him anything.
