Andrew's POV
The next day I already wait at the front of the building where Sha Sha's father works. I decide to confront that old man first to let him know I really am serious with his daughter.
I wait patiently even though I saw a few peoples went in and out from the building's entrance, looking at me with a judgemental expression on their face. I just kept ignoring all those eyes that were staring at me.
Why would I want to bother about what others think of me? I am me, and I live however I want. I exist as I am, that's enough.
I want to smoke, and I pull my cigarette boxes from my pocket. But, once I saw the condition of my cigarettes, which all have been chopped by someone, I hissed. "Damn you, Gonzales," I mutter slowly, and I didn't expect to hear his reply.
But he does reply to me, which makes me more irritated at him. "It's not healthy, Master. Didn't you said that you want to live a little longer?"
I bit on my lower lips. I know what Gonzales said is true, but it's been a month since last I smoke. Sighing, I think I really need to stop smoking. I took my cigarette boxes and threw it to the bin.
Just when I was throwing that trash, that old man walks out from the main entrance. He's a little shocked to see me, I guess? Or is it actually he saw that I just throw out my cigarette? Ah, dammit! I just got another bad impression again, aren't I?
I mustered up my mind and walked to the old man as usual. But, I think he saw me walk like a gangster in his eyes, explaining why he was suddenly sweating a little.
"Good evening, sir." I greet him like usual too. Like I always welcome my subordinate, but I think he felt intimidated by my presence? He even took a step back!
"Be more a little gentler, Master. Your face right now is like an evil antagonist, master." I hold my anger back. This annoying Gonzales really needs a punishment. How dare he said that I look like an evil antagonist!
But then, I put on a smile on my face. Trying to act gentler, as Gonzales says. But, I guess I just crack a creepy smile instead. The old man even took another step back.
"W-what do you want?" he asked without even looking at my face. I guess someone already told him of who I am. If not, why did he look like he scared of me?
"Can we talk over somewhere? I have something that I want to talk with you." I said with my serious tone. Okay, back to business. I'm here is actually not to get his favor. I know he doesn't like me. So, I don't want to suck up his ass just because I like his daughter.
"Sorry, I can't." the old man said and ready to leave me. But, just when he was about to leave, I lost my rational mind for a second. I don't know why did I kabedon that old man!
Bam!
"Why?" I asked and stared at his face. He flinched a little and avoid my eyes. Oh, so he's afraid of me too? Last time didn't he the one who dares to punch me so hard in front of everyone?
"L-let me go. I need to pick up my daughter."
"Don't lie to me. Sha Sha's working overtime today." I said and pulled back my hand from the wall. I know Gonzales is somewhere around me, eyeing me like an eagle because I act out without thinking again.
"How did you know? Are you stalking my daughter??" oh no, he looked furious right now. I put both of my hands inside my sweater's pocket.

"Why don't we have a little chit chat? I want to talk to you regarding your daughter." I said again, and the old man sighed. I think he finally agrees to sit down and talk?
I lead him to the cafe near his workplace. As we order some coffee, I look at his face. Well, I think I know now where did Sha Sha inherit her beautiful eyes. Unfortunately, I do believe that this guy doesn't deserve those eyes.
"Speak." the old man said and still avoiding to look at my face. I wonder why? Did my face really scary or my face resemble evil antagonists that much?
"I love your daughter," I said it straightforwardly, and it makes the old man suddenly spurt out his coffee this instant because of the shock, I think? Well, luckily, he didn't spurt it on my face, though.
"What??" he glares at me like he's ready to choke me to death. But, old man…I tell you what, I didn't scare at all! Come to me now, we'll see who's strong between us.
"I said I-"
"I heard it. But what are your intentions? You're not suitable for her! Forget her!" he insists on rejecting me.
"My intention is to cherish her and love her." I still answer his question, and I heard a chuckle that I know it's from Gonzales!
Again, I think I am too straightforward as the old man cough while holding his chest. "Are you okay, sir? I'm not making you get a heart attack, aren't I?" I asked worriedly, but then I got a smack on my head by that old man.
"You!!" his voice makes a few people at the other table, look at us. I waited for him until he calms down a little. I saw him pull out his tie and unbutton his collar a little. His face is already red, and his nose flares up while glaring at me, like an angry old dragon.
"I refused!" he said, stands on his ground. Oh, …he want to challenge me?
"I didn't ask for your permission, sir. I can take her away if I want to, but because she respects you so much, I guess I'll just make you agree to it." I smiled contently, which irked the old man more.
"There's no way my daughter like someone like you! Don't you have a mirror at your house? Look at yourself! Green hair! Ripped jeans and full of piercing on your stupid face! And you said you want to cherish my daughter? Dream on!"
"Pftt!"
'Gonzales!!!' I then look at my jeans, and I slide my hair a little to the side. "I can change the way I look if you want me to," I said, and he widens his eyes to me. What? Did I say something wrong this time?
"Hmph! What do you have to offer to my daughter? You don't even have a job, and how did you plan on making a living?" he asked me and I dumbfounded a little. So, this old man doesn't know who I really am?
Ah~ that's good too. I took out my phone and showed the old man my graduation photo.
"This is me. I'm a graduate from MIT Universities. I guess you know just how limited MIT students in this world, right? Do you think I'm not working even though I'm a graduate from MIT?" I saw his expression change shocked after I show him the photo of me, but of course, not a picture of me with my father. I have no intention of telling him who my father is.
I pull back my phone on the table and open on my bank account statement for the last six months. I show it to the man in front of me. "This is my account bank statement for the last six months. As for what I can offer to your daughter, she just needs to ask, and I'll get it for her."
I know I sound so arrogant right now. Sometimes, to deal with this kind of people need to use what I have to win him over. If he likes money, then I can offer him that too. I have a lot of money. If he wants someone educated, then I'm not inferior also.
When I die, I can't bring my wealth and fame to the afterworld, can't I?
Maybe he was too shocked to see so many zeros on my account bank, and again, I pull back my phone and put it back inside of my pocket.
"You…you did something illegal to earn that money, didn't you?" he accuses me of doing what???
"I-"
"No means no. My daughter deserves someone better than you. You may have money and brain, but my daughter needs a good man to be her husband! Not some gigolo who likes to buy a woman's heart."
What the hell?? I was really speechless with his accusation. He really needs some bang on his brain, isn't he?
"Gigolo?" I mutter as I didn't understand what he meant by that.
"Don't pretend like you don't know."
I scrunch my eyebrow. As I want to deny it, that man already stands up and ready to leave. "Leave my daughter alone, or I'll report you to the police."
"Sorry, I can't do that, sir. I don't know what makes you think I'm a bad guy here. But, I'll prove it to you that I am serious with your daughter. Like I said earlier, I didn't ask for your permission. You can report me to the police, and so I am too. You think I don't know you hit your own daughter?"
"I did to educate her!" he looks more furious than before. I scoffed at his statement.
"Educating while hit her? Tell that to the police then.." I shrugged my shoulder and said again. "Please note that I'm not joking right now. If I ever saw any bruise on her face or her body again..I will not let you go. I don't care if you Sha Sha's father or not. We'll see who's the real bad guy here."
Does he think he's the only one who can get angry? Heh! He was just upsetting me with his stupid accusation and stubbornness. Fine! We'll see who will win at the end.
There's no way I'll let Sha Sha go.
Hello guys,
Please give me a little time until next week, and I'll update it regularly. For right now, I'm a little bit busy with my other novel (Darling, Don't Run Away!) because it's near the end, so I need to do the editing work which consumes most of my times.
So, until next week, please bear with me. Thanks!
